Hi all,
As the topic says, I have a IS200, had a look in the manual to replace the bulbs, and its not in there. Anyone know how I change them. Do you replace them from the outside, as I opened up the lineing inside, and cannot get to them from there. Cheers

Alright there,
Ive just bought some new eyelids for my car, they arrived in the Carbon effect, my question is, shall i keep them in the effect or should i get them painted in the plat ice?? Its hard to see what they look like propper cos im colour blind

Of coarse i'll not be leaving them stuck on with the parcel wrap tape

Hi, did you spray your eyelids yourself or garage sprayed? I have just sent for some my car same colour as yours, wondering where I could get colour match paint to do them myself?
Ta Steve

I like Daza-w and Prolex-UK painted ones. :D
where can I purchase them from?I like Daza-w and Prolex-UK painted ones. :D
thanks steve

thanks for your time, do you know where you can get them?
the other option my mate will do it by part drilling and putting in self tapping screws.

While you are there lift the whele out and look for creases from a rear end shunt.
About spare just had mine a week only checked spare it has got the fittings fot holding down the spare but i noticed it has got a 17in original lexus alloy in it and my wheels on the lexus are 18in would an 18in fit in the well?

there are supposd to be plastic locating lugs under the car which the skirt is screwed into.
i think i may have a fitting kit knocking around, ill dig it out
Cheers, that would be sound thanks Steve

Thanks for all the nice replies :winky:
Looks sweet mate, really nice. Is the grille built into the front bumper on that kit then?
Yeah the grille and bumper are all one piece - which reminds me I should stick my Sportdesign grille up for sale......
Nice one, car looks fab. real difference isn't it - bet you can't stop going out and looking at it? :D(you might want to think about moving the horns down a bit though - it's very easy to do.)
I've got the OEM exhaust trim on mine for now with the TTE rear skirt - looks good imo.
Are those the horns behind the grille? Had no idea what they were - not too bothered about moving them, would like to replace them though if its not too hard as they're so weedy :shutit:
Do you have a pic of the exhaust trim with the TTE skirt on? Does it make the pipe much bigger/longer?
Looking good mate :D Don't fancy topping it off with some side skirts tooHi, about the side skirts i purchased my is with the kit on but noticed when i was cleaning it the other day that it was not bolted underneath the car only on the arches, it has the holes in the skirts for bolts but what about drilling into the floor do not fancy that??
any easy fix? ta steve
I do want to at some point, but personally not too keen on the TRD ones so going to need to have a good look around at what's out there - although I think I need to drop it and get some bigger rims before adding anything to the side of the car......

All it does is reduce the sensitivity of the throttle pedal - will therefore change mpg in the same way as if you didn't press the accelerator as hard! :P
And i thought it'd be something more interesting than that, i'm devistated!. I was hoping that some ski's come out the sides like the bond car.
ok if i makes you feel better it makes it Snow, then a Avalanche will start from the kerb side, and try to push you off the Road
Hi people just had my lexus Is 200 over a week learning a lot from this owners club site best one seen yet, just sold my Toyota land cruiser 4.2 turbo diesel i had for the last five years, i thought we would have some Serious snow but only had Scattering really over last five years so do not think the snow button will be used much i hope.
thanks, steve

£35 posted and packed, but can only get sapphire blue, platinum ice, granite sky and black
any other colour and you would need to buy one of the above and have it repainted
Did Lexus do 2 blues in the IS because some say royal blue and some saphire?
many thanks

Hi, just hady Lexus IS200 sport just over a week now it has the original body-kit on but I was cleaning it the other day and noticed it was not supported very firm on the side skirts underneath, they have not bolted it too The car underneath there are holes in the side-skirt where the bolts fix, what is the best way to drill through?
Do not fancy pulling the carpets up are there a way without doing this?
Is there anything to watch out for drilling through the floor?
