Yes, that's me. Were you at Jongleurs Portsmouth?
There's no point me trying to be anonymous on # forums anymore, every bugger knows me

Ours is an ex-demo too. Not worked out how to turn on the radar cruise yet... better read the manual

Hello!
Just got hold of a GS450h SE-L. What a great car... it's a spaceship on wheels.
Anyway, quick question. How can you *disable* the switch that tells the stereo/navi that you are moving? My wife (who's the main driver of the car) can't seem to enter navi routes while moving, and (more importantly to me) I can't watch DVD's or Video CDs when we're on the road either.
On other aftermarket systems it's a question of disabling (or making a permanent connection) on the handbrake signal. Is it, as I imagine, a bit more complicated on the Mark Levein system?
And once again - hello!

Thanks everyone
No plans to mod the GS... it's a fairly complex beast to understand as stock!

Hello there
Just joined, as my wife has just bought a new GS450h. What a car!
I'm no stranger to Jap cars though, as I'm a bit of a closet modifier. I used to have a Gen 7 Celica - www.celica7.com - and now have a supercharged 350Z - www.stephengrant.com/350z. I also write (well, wrote) on the imminently folding J-Tuner magazine.
I'm going to nip over to the GS forums to ask a basic question but otherwise...

Will do. Thought I'd try the UK forums first.
Anyway, I agree with your points, but it's highly safe for the passenger to do it!
And... *toy phones* ? ;)
