  1. hi mate you can get kyb rear shocks for £108 for the pair all in from www. buypartsbuy.co.uk

i and other members have used them, i would also change shocks in pairs.

Well thats not bad at all.....having read some other topics it sounds like the KYB Shocks are the OEM shocks using on is200's anyway so a genuine part?

Also, if I bought these is a big job replacing them myself or is it best to get a pro to do it?

  2. hi, im new to the club. im thinking of buying a set angel eyes and fitting them. how lond does it take you and how do you take the headlight apart

    cheers

    Welcome to LOC :winky:

I fitted these about a month back and they look ssswwweeettttt!! Yes, you do need to take the headlight apart which took me a few hours but then it was straight forward. Careful when you put them back together again and use plenty of silicon.

The only problem I have is since installing them my lights fog up every time it rains....i'm going to be trying a few things this weekend to sort this out before winter kicks in!

  3. Thanks for this mate.....I did just this and its been fine since I did it, but today I have had the car washed and the lights fogged up! :crybaby:

I have left all front lights on for about 30 mins and this cleared most of it but after leaving it a while it comes back again!.....does anyone know the best way to sort this out? Any help will be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance as always!

  4. Hi All,

I finally got my angel eye mod installed yesterday and it looks the dogs nuts but I wanted some advice on how to make sure the lights don't fog up.

I used clear silicon to seal back the lights after I opened them and this seems fine, however, I ran the wires for the angel eyes out the existing side light hole. It now has an open hole at the back and I'm sure I need to seal it some how but I'm not quite sure what to seal it with.

I know a few here have the angel eye mod so any help with this will be much welcomed.

    Thanks

  5. Hi All,

I'm trying to find out if there is a touchscreen that comes pre-made to fit into a standard double-din slot that will enable me to control a computer.

I have seen loads on eBay that you can get for about £150 that are touchscreen CD/DVD systems but they will not allow me to control an external source with the touchscreen as it will only control it's own integrated menu....

    Any ideas

    Thanks

  6. LexusAlloyPedalSet.jpg

OK so I took a look at thes pedals as the largest long plate looks far too long to be the clutch so I believe this is to be used as the foot rest. The smallest one is the accelarator, the mid sized one is the clutch and the wider one is the brake.....

I could be wrong but that certainly makes the most sense to me! :winky:

  7. Ok I have sourced a place online that sells them but they are in America, luckily I have a relative over their who can ship them over to me...

Apparently the same illuminated sills will fit the GS300, GS400, GS430 and the IS300! Can someone in the know confirm that all these cars have the same sills? (i know the IS300 does)

    Thanks

  8. Thank you all, very helpful :)

It looks as though quite a bit of work is required to actually get it looking neat and tidy and it's not just a direct replacement. I'm really not all that great with stuff like that, is there a genuine lexus one you can get which just fits straight in without the need to sand and paint and all that malarky!?

Also, seeing as you are all so helpfull here, can anyone point me a to some sites which sell the illuminated door sills for the IS200 SE?

    Thanks again
