ahh fair enough maybe someone can enlighten us to what kit is on yours? SODS LAW - found a gorgeous blue one in immaculate condition although it does have 117k miles (99 T reg) on it, now how do these lex engines go with mileage?

my mate bout a W reg one about a year ago with arounf 110,000 miles on and he hasn't had one problem with it, if they've been serviced by lexus and well looked after you shouldn't have a problem

I haven't looked yet mate, but i will :D . I'm actually being really fussy in the lex i want basically i'm looking for a 99-00 (to avoid the higher tax) sport, with under 100kmiles on it and with a similar kit to the one on yours (is this the TTE kit?). I have a vision of a few carbon fiber exterior touches but not sure how well blue will take to it. I've seen a few modded grey 200's and they do look pretty special but i can see it being one of those colours that you can become bored of pretty quickly.

Not sure what kits on it, thats the way i found it, not very clued up on these things at all, yeah i think the grey would become boring very quickly and you have to work hard at giving it a nice shine, i think the blue does look better, although the grey ones seem to be quite rare, i was looking for 4 months to find a new car and i only saw one grey one with the sports kit. good luck with your search :D

you lucky lucky B*****D :D , i should be in the market for my IS200sport at the end of this month, this will be my first (yes i'm a lexus virgin). I'm currently deciding on colour, i've narrowed it down to Blue/Black or Grey. I was heavily leaning toward grey but after seeing this beauty it does look stunning! I'm going to be having a few carbon pieces on the car splitter/spoiler etc so not sure what colour will go best with this?

Dan did you check out the grey one on auto trader? Theres a few sports like mine about the now, let me know how you get on

IS200 at 23... but a turbo-technics conversion XR2 Mk2 Fiesta at 18 ;) Faaaaast :D

I had an Astra 2.0 Sri turbo at 18, insurance nearly killed me! Love it though :D Still see it around now and again, my girlfriends ex bought it!

its easy mate do it yourself as long as you have the bypass lead thats the hardest part (well more awkward many have scraped a knuckle or to)theres always guides or people on here like wozza or redzuk that are great help.i stripped mine out and fitted a new one all the way through and had great fun also

I was 23 when I bought my IS200 (now 29), thought I was young buying an IS200 at 23.

I bought my first one at 23 aswell and just like yourself i though i was very young! My mates took the :tsktsk: :tsktsk: when i said i was getting one, they all shut up when they saw it tho! :D
