Hi,
have a new RX400h about 3 weeks now and have to say very happy indeed. Read many
of the threads on fuel consumption and Im getting about 8.8 L per 100 km or 32mpg with mixed driving,
all be it taking her handy as it were. Anyway, because I live in Ireland naturally all the displays
for consumption are litres per 100km for comsumption. I was therefore wondering if there were
any tricks/cheats to getting the display to revert to mpg as it's a pain having to manually compute
each time. Im getting better at estimating and retraining my brain to litres/100km but
you can't beat good old mpg.
many thanks

Hi, just joined today, excellent forum found it very useful :D
I'm 95% sure Im going to order my RX400h tomorrow and have read with interest many of the
mainly very positive comments on the RX400h which have helped greatly in my final decision.
One final aspect that I am trying to get reassurance on , is whether the RX400h will meet the needs
of launching a small boat (1500 kg) area from a slip way. More over the question is will
it be capable of retrieving the boat. Im concerned that not a lot of torque goes to the back wheels
of the car + it will be on a fairly steep gradient (slipway) ... So has anyone used their RX400h
to do this. Im hoping this won't be a problem but given the predominant front wheel drive
ratio, Im like to clarify. The dealer's playing it safe neither saying yes or no to the question.
Appreciate any views today as I will prob have to make a call on going with the car tomorrow.

Many Thanks.
FYI just discovered by holding the INFO button and turning the parking lights on and off 3 times,
you get into a diagnosis hidden menu which has a Display sub menu but alas dont seem to be able
to covert between km/l and MPG.
Anyone else find anything useful on this menu ?
