Hi, I got that message on my dash IS250 SEL at about 65k. Took it straight to local Lexus dealer they fixed it FOC. Needed the car about a hour to download a new ECU on line.

Wonder if anyone can help. This morning I found an 18mm bolt on the pavement at the entrance to my drive. Not sure if this has dropped of my 2007 is250. It looks like it's got black paint/under seal on it. Anyone have any ideas? Could it be off a brake calliper or suspension strut. Any help would be appreciated.

It's the tyres skipping rather than rotating. It happens on all the second generation IS's, including the IS-F. Get someone to take a look when you have it on full lock. Happens in reverse on full lock too, especially when the roads wet or slippery.
Many thanks Tango

Hi
I had the same problem and when i mentioned it to the dealer at its last service he explained the same reason - the front wheels tilt when on full lock and it is the tyre struggling to grip at that angle. nothing to worry about and not dangerous, they all do that.
Many thanks for the prompt response. I must admit this has happened for as long as I can remember.Glad to hear it's not about to fall off anyway. Cheers.

Can anyone help? I've had my IS 250 Auto (07)plate for 3 years now and whenever I have the full lock on to the right I feel a juddering coming from the wheel (as if it's gonna come off). However it doesn't happen when I have full lock on to the left. Has anyone come across this problem? Is it dangerous and what action do I need to take? Hope you can help.

Hi all,
I need to replace front and rear pads and discs on my is250.
Seem to get quoted around £520 from various lexus dealers (compared to 600+ at kwikfit lol) - but have seen online prices (quite hard to find more than a couple) for around £260 inc vat/delivered. Not sure I want to risk getting cheap/wrong ones - and then find a place to fit them as I have no idea what kind of labour charge is reasonable..
Last quote though from lexus was £420 - which I'll probably go for - as they're doing some recall work and will give a courtesy car for the day.
Just wanted to know if this sounds reasonable.. thanks for any comments or suggestions....
I told them I was a member of LOC but I think the dealership has just changed hands - but they seemed happy to honour the discount (even though the guy at the front desk didnt know if I meant before or after the £420) before he agreed it :)
