Boring subject i guess but can any one tell me if a decent pram will fit in my is200? the wife is selling her audi TT and ive told her we,ll try an manage with just the lexus ,but is the boot big enough for all the baby stuff? i dont want to get rid of the lex as ive only had it a year so any advise would be very much appreciated! thanks in advance to any replies as im off to work in a bit an will look back in the morning -_-

how old is ur is? does the fuel gauge get less accurate with time?? and using v power should i get 400 miles out of a tank 360 is most i can manage

I decided to take some pictures of my fuel gauge to show you how strange it is, and how it seems to have its own mind.

so here we have the needle and just over half tank at 283miles.

Now at this point, other drivers and I would be thinking "fantastic, im heading toward 550miles/tank"

then all of sudden... BAM!

under 100 miles later, the light comes on, with the needle at 1/4 tank.

now half tank would be 35ltrs, light comes on at 10ltrs...

so thats ~100miles in 25ltrs :o

to add to this, my needle sometimes is spot on, and other times is soo far off, i have to guess by my trip counter when i will need to fill up!

are your needles this strange?

Is there a CD player cleaner available for my IS200? keep getting error1, when trying to play cd`s

get rid ! once you ger error 1 you will soon have error 3 i expect, you can get cd cleaners from supermarkets but it didnt sort mine out at all and after reading about all the problems others have had i was glad to get the cd player out of my car!

Be careful when talking about subjects like this, there was a topic earlier tonight about someone from the VX220 owner's club who has been collared by the police for boasting about acheived speeds.

thats a fair point as far as saftey goes i only touched the high speed i mentioned , ive been on tracks done 145 in a ferrari not so long a go so i do relise we all drive cars that go fast but shouldnt on the road!

johnbaby i think you missed the bit where you say that you popped over to the German Autobahns to do the testing

dave ellen and me recorded 140 for a steady few miles (sat nav speed) and funnily enough was on the German Autobahn

only had my is 200 for a couple of months and even though im old enough to know better i took it up to 120 mph on saturday and if the wife wasnt with me i might have carried on, but how fast will they go? it just doesnt seem to struggle to find the power, also ive been using v-power petrol from shell ,£60 to fill the tank and almost 400 miles, some people seem to be complaining a lot about fuel consump but i think its pretty good for a car you just cant drive slow

the miles on ur lexus are really low mate, mines a 2000 w done 78000 and ive no intention of changing the cambelt, wear and tear comes from mileage in my mind but peace of mind is good , maybe i prefer a gamble actually i do so ignore me :D welcome by the way to a big source of information! dont drive to fast now

hello to everyone just bought a silver is200 se friday w reg , cant get over the power and handling! after 5 years of bmw driving i feel in adiffernt league now! i get the feelin error 3 on the cd player means its dead but is error 1 a big prob? the cd player worked on the test drive an now no cd willl play it wont say how many tracks there are? any advice would be good
