  1. Yeah but not when its the owners fault for not caring about your pride and joy and which could cost you thousands if it breaks.......but then you'll probably blame Lexus for that too!!!! I feel another picket outside Burgh Heath being arranged...............watch this space And those that can be bothered to read the owners manual
  2. And make way for the next bunch of thieving crooks ;)
  3. Done before. http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...c=49002&hl=
  4. Does the club sell the sticky pads to stick them on with?........i need some :D
  5. At first glance i would of said it wasn't changed but then noticed you have no cam cover which will let the dirt and grime in and it looks older than it probably is, do you trust the garage that said they renewed it?
  6. PM Tony and he will give you an answer as to wether he can help, im sure he can.
  7. http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/forum/ There you go m8 but you'll have to wait while Tony get his new place up and running. Oh and welcome :D
  8. Thats what i got.....so mine has become more desireable!! Thanks Darling :D
  9. They are correct if you want inner tyre wear :D But they are wrong its 35 all round
  10. Tyres were still legal. The car was traded in at a Toyota Main Dealer, who checked right round the car and offered a p/x price accordingly. I was pulling your leg. @ Rob....that cant be true as not all IS's were prone to tyre wear. Have you contacted the new owner to advise of the tyre wear issues the Lex has, i mean he/she could have an accident, then who would be responsible.....Lexus or you for selling a motor with a known fault !!!! not your liability at all - lexus claim there is no fault after all.
  11. Have you contacted the new owner to advise of the tyre wear issues the Lex has, i mean he/she could have an accident, then who would be responsible.....Lexus or you for selling a motor with a known fault !!!!
  12. Its only on new cars (i think) mine stays the same pre 01 model. :D
  13. This will help, search by band. http://www.vcacarfueldata.org.uk/ved/
  14. You may want to change that date as they (Lexus GB) may see this and have a police prescence waiting for you at the gates. ;)
  15. Mr Bones (Doc) Q. So since the arival of the IS in 1999 have you seen/heard of any tyre wear related accidents/deaths either on T.V radio or Motor Magazine articles?........ A. No Case dismissed. I wonder if those supporting your cause will help with your loses if it goes to court......i do hope so as it could cost thousands. Best of luck.
  16. Having had a blowout at 70 mph in the IS on the M25 the car behaved as it should of...no dramas, held a straight line and slowed down pulling over to the h/shoulder, the reason cars crash after a b/out is people panic and do the wrong thing i.e brake!! a big no no at 70mph thats what will throw you towards the central reservation or flip you over into a roll. Im not saying what your doing is wrong, be happy that you have found a place that will help you find a solution to your problem.....LOC and WIM, it will be impossible to reach every IS owner. Good luck
  17. So....as expected then. What next?....a mass picket at Burgh Heath!!
  18. Any Lexus owner can ask Tony for the revised settings and pass them onto any garage that wants to reset the geo.
  19. Oh i hear you. But i still dont get it, i've known about the tyre wear issues since i bought the car and Tony posted here with a solution (i was the first) now all the tyre wear issues have gone. They know about it believe me as they (Lexus GB) do roam in and out of the forum from time to time. Hope you get whatever it is you want.
  20. You should check pressures and tyre conditions every week its in the h/book. I'm trying hard to find what it is you want personally.....a new set of tyres? or Lexus to admit that there is a fault? either way they wont admit it, has Renault admitted that the bonnet catch (very dangerous) fails on the Clio range after 1,200 complaints even watchdog cant get them to admit a problem not even VOSA will admit it.
