  1. If you have a laptop, you can get a USB one even cheaper than that! Think mine was literally about £2. Though postage from Hong Kong was £15!

The reader will give you a code.

Then you look here: Clicky..... to find out what it means.

Dont suppose you have a link for the laptop USB kit do ya??. Dont really need it but could come in handy in future.

    Cheers :)

Naw, not yet, where do i get one from, mate
  2. You mean the engine check light ? (kind of looks like an engine/gearbox)

You can get OBD II readers remarkably cheaply these days, e.g. here. You can plug that into the car and get the diagnostic codes off it, then some of the peeps on here might be able to tell you what's wrong.

An OBD II reader can easily pay for itself in one use if it is something you can fix yourself rather than having to pay a garage.

nice one, only £30, i'll try that.
  3. 1. had enough money for sticker not enough for complete respray, as the bonnet needed complete strip, as it had already been sprayed badly before.

What's the excuse for the one on the back bumper :tomato:

My brother inlaw reversed it into a wall, the tulip , he won't drive it again.

  4. sorry, I dont spend much time around here nowadays...

the car is certainly, erm, one of a kind. (thankfully)

The bit I dont get is, you say your paying off a loan, so in October there is 'no stopping you' - this raises 2 questions in my head.

    1. If you dont have a lot of money, why waste it on in-your-face stickers on an otherwise standard-looking IS200?

    2. If this is you being restrained, I really dont want to see you when 'theres no stopping you' ;)

    (all meant in good humour)
