  1. I think you would be better off getting the full program... does everything you can think of, including mp3 disks, DVD, VCD, ripping from CD etc... Also does video editing, Audio editing etc PM me if you want any other details... John
  2. If you have the full Roxio program, then you will have an option to make a DVD video disk.. it will take the wma files and convert to the correct format (mpeg2) and then burn to dvd as vob files. This process can take quite some time, as it renders the video.. John
  3. Have you used the Tevion disks before? have you changed any settings in Roxio, or done anything different than normal. John
  4. Had loads of bikes, back in my younger days :P Still get a quick blat now and again on my mates ZX9-R... although if I did get another one, it would either be a Duke, or a tourer. John
  5. We all grumble about price increases.... but at the end of the day, we all have to pay it. My relations have just come back from Alcoodia... and had to do a double take on a petrol station there... they couldn't believe the price.. €0.23 (cents) about 16p a litre. rip off Britain eh? John p.s. and a friend in Dubai who is on about 25p a gallon !
  6. I use Roxio, and it has never failed yet.. depends on the format you are using, the type of disks you are using, and your DVD player.... some don't like certain disks etc. John
  7. I can also recommend mytyres.co.uk, even cheaper and just as good.. Bear in mind that they are delivered prices, but you can get them fitted at any tyre place from about a fiver each... most being up to a tenner.. even then, it still saves around £15-20 per tyre on the etyres price. another one is blackcircles.com, and you can choose fitted or delivered.. but they charge about £15 for fitting.. I get them done for a fiver all in. John
  8. I got some Mazda6 17" wheels for my 626GT, and had them refurbed in Shadow Chrome... The colour changes depending on the angle and the light hitting them.. anything from a dark gunmetal, to a bright silvery chrome, but nothing like a proper chrome, so definitely not bling.. John p.s. sorry the car is filthy and the pic doesn't do the wheels justice at all. now fitted to another members MX-6.. more pics here.. (mine's there as well !) I want to get my GS300's wheels done in the same colour, but may have to get them done one at a time, as I dont have any replacement wheels to use while they are being done......... unless someone can lend me a set for about a week.. :winky:
  9. Replacement bulbs are probably best sourced from Ebay... and you may also find the manual there as well. John
  10. And shouldn't that black wire from the car kit be connected to earth.... John
  11. I have had many tyre brands over the years, and can honestly say the Toyo's have been the best I have had, especially for the money.. the Bridgestones were £130, Toyo's £75... and the performance is very similar... with maybe the edge going to Toyo. The older T1-S have been superb in the wet and dry.. and are pretty quiet... they don't squeal when over cooking it on corners, unlike the Pirelli's I had, which complained on the lightest of bends. The only downside is that I was getting about 8K miles on the front (FWD) I would expect much more on a RWD car. The late T1-Rs are a bit better in the grip department, and also a quiet tyre.. I had done 10K miles, and still had plenty left, so they certainly do last longer as well. Out of the 2, I think the older T1-S do look better, with the V tread going all the way to the edge. When the Dunlops wear down on the GS, I will more than likely be replacing with Toyo's.. as I can't fault them one bit. John
  12. I read somewhere that the lenses have a UV coating to stop them going yellow... if the lenses get scratched, some people will try to polish them out, obviously removing the coating in the process. John
  13. Took 12 days to arrive for me.... not too bad really. John
  14. remove bulb. fit HID Globe. secure ballast. connect leads to globe. connect original bulb connector to ballast. Job Done.. John
