I used to own a IS 200 Sport & would like to know if it still exists. I have done a quick check on the DVLA website for car tax & it says vehicle details could not be found. I wonder if any one on here could help, the registration was EX03 FUD.
Thanks in advance.

The day after my daughter Kiera was born I bought K13 RAO (K13RA O) cost £250, she is 14 in 2 weeks, only 3 years to go before she can have it on her 1st car.

Yes i do really mean IS250, i already have a IS200, looking at trading up. Trying to get as much info as i can before parting with any money.
-
There must be somebody on here that owns one, & has it serviced.

Could anyone tell me the service intervals for an IS250 Sport, with manual box, eg cambelt replacement (mileage/years)
Thanks
Leigh

hi mate might be nothing but has the engine got any extra stress put on it ie a/c etc
It only happens when the engine is cold

Over the last week i have noticed that when the car is cold it's idling at 1800-2000rpm, once its warm it settles to about 800rpm. I know it should idle about 650rpm when warm. Has anyone got any ideas why its gone high.

Thanks, just popped into WHSmiths and picked a copy up. :)
You bought it? Isn't WHS more like a library - people just have a 'free read'! :-)
My missus has worked for WH Smith for 14years, & says the car mag section on a saturday is busier than the library.

Hi, my car's handling isn't as good as it used to be - especially due to a crash; anyway is it really worth the trek (4 hours) to see Tony or should my local ATS Euromaster be sufficient?
How much is the service and how long would it take? Thanks!
I went to WIM on tuesday for a geometry set up, its well worth it. It would be well worth the 4 hours, i live in the midlands & had the same 4 hour round trip.
The difference is unbelievable, i would highlt recommend it.
With WIM you can stay with your car & watch whats being done & have it explained, you dont get this with ATS.
It cost me £100 for the geometry set up & it took about 1 hour.
Hope this helps

Will try & come down for that to meet some of you guys.
forgot to mention, i got nearly 36mpg on the journey was quite pleased (steady 70-80mph)

Just got back from having my IS200 geometry set up & 2 new tyres. Tony said i would notice a difference on the journey home, i certainly did. No more tramling over white lines, the car doesn't drift to the left either. What a difference, well worth the 100 mile trip.
You have a great set up Tony, i wish you well in your new venture. :winky:

Try Hinckley Car Bodies, Dodwells Bridge Ind Est, Hinckley not to far from you ask for Dion. They do a cracking job not the cheapest but you pay for what you get. 01455 614861

Hi guys,
I bought some alloys from ebay and the spigot rings that I got with them go from OD=72.6mm to ID = 60.1mm; the only problem is that the actual OD of the alloys is 74.1mm (says so on the box!)
I have tried to get spigot rings with OD=74.1mm to ID=60.1mm and no one seems to do them. I rang Wheelbase in Oldham and they suggested that I can combine spigot rings to get the correct size because the most common spigot rings I can get are:
OD=74.1 to ID=72.6mm
OD=72.6mm to ID=60.1mm
If I used these together I would get the correct fitment. I would rather just try and get a proper sized ring if possible or do you think combining the spigot rings should be okay?
I was thinking of getting some spigot rings made but don't know where to go??
Thanks,
Anees
