heres my highly tuned super duper "my cars better than your car" so there! :winky:
-
i have noticed on this forum and most others, when members show photo`s of their car, they hide the reg. number. is there an obvious reason for this? just wondering?

if it's the oem kit i did mine a bit back and this is how it goes
in the kit there are 3 black plastic strips with tape on the bottom. clean the car lid were the wing will sit and then attach the plastic strips and remove the tape cover
then 2 people hold the wing over then lid while the other one makes sure it's straight and even sitting and then place it on the boot lid. now lift up the wing making sure that the black plastic tapes stay in place on the boot lid... then cut the tops off the plastic tapes to leave holes in the plastic were you are meant to drill. then the rest is hocking up the light and blocking off the rear light in the screen. better to take it out and put the black cover over the lens.
good luck
i bought the spoiler from a breakers. the bit you describe must be a sticky template, i didn`t get this bit with it, but i will try and get one to fit it correctly. thanks to all for the help and info.

I was under the impression that the Altezza was a rear wheel drive car but after spinning the wheels a little pulling away on some gravel I'm a little confused. It was the front wheels that slipped a bit as I was reversing at the time. Have I got it completely wrong here?
the front wheels may have slipped on gravel. but they certainly wouldn`t "SPIN".

i have managed to get hold of a boot spoiler, it`s the one with brake light built in. what i am looking for is any tips or advice on how to fit it. to save drilling a lot of holes in the boot lid "i would need 5" i was thinking of removing the plastic studs and two small bolts and fitting it with strong double sided tape, then i would only need one small hole for the brake light cable. is this a good idea? other ideas , comments, are welcome.

hi, i am going to get my wheels refurbished on my altezza as200, the car is silver and i was thinking of getting the wheels a gunmetal finish. has anyone any pictures of the silver car with gunmetal or black wheels? thanks in advance.
heres a quick pick of my wheels. went for the graphite colour. four wheels refurbished any coulour. tyres removed replaced and re- balanced for £180. amazing value, got them done here. http://www.covanhill-powder-coaters.com/html/index.php
Have you got any full car pics with those wheels on? Im looking to do my 18" styling kit alloys in a similar colour on a Plat Ice car with Styling kit, but can't decide on which shade. Something like yours or titanium would be nice.
Cheers
Gareth
will try and get more pics at the weekend.

I bought this car on monday and I am aware that it needs a few things doing to it but it is a sound car, and mechanically mint. Also it is a Altezza.cheers

hi does the prolex induction system give any power gain over a k&n panel filter?

new shockers now on and the knocking noise has "gone". strange thing is, the old shockers look and feel ok!

some info on both cars.

i am just about ready to fit a full set of shockers, on my as200 altezza. the new ball joints cured the rattle type noise, but i still get the knocking noise on rough roads, i am expecting the new shockers to cure this.

i have a very small slow coolant leak at the water pump by-pass. how hard or easy is this to sort?
