  1. My 2005 GS300 SE-L will get around 33-4mpg on a motorway run. The best I have ever had was on a motorway leaving Switzerland into France, when I filled up in services, and cruised out for miles and miles downhill, and got around 45mpg going 80-90mph.

I find I will get 33-4mpg when cruising around 90mph on the clock on m-way. I find I get less cruising at 70mph. I have never had the patience to cruise at 50 :shifty:

I am really worried now coz I only do about 220miles on a full tank with my Aristo V300.

  2. I think I know what the problem is. I have had a similar problem in my GT4. One of the outputs from the DVD player was for the front monitor. This will not work unless the engine is not running. The idea is to stop you from watching while driving. I solved my problem by earthing the wire on the player that says handbrake (attaching the 'handbrake wire' on the player to the body of the car). Since then it all worked fine. This was an after market sony indash dvd player. Hope that helps. ta

  3. Hi Folks.

I don't post often mainly because I have trouble free motoring from my 1999 S reg MKII GS300. Lately I have noticed a couple of things that I'm looking for help with.

1 When driving in daylight my speedo and rev counter clocks light up as normal with the dimmer turned down very slightly ( I read somewhere on this site good idea to turn them down as this stops the needles burning out ). But at night with the dimmer in the same position the clocks are much duller almost as if the dimmer was turned nearly right down.

2 The rubber strip at the bottom of the driver's door on the outside is starting to come adrift from the door where it meets the rear door.

Any help with these problems would be much appreciated.

    Jim :crybaby:

I have the same same problem on my doors as well. Pliz let me know when u get the solution to this problem. Thanks
