I took my car (Lexus IS250) to JEM for service - was very pleased with the service overall. Although they offered a pick up and drop of service, I decided to take it myself in view of time constraints. I would highly recommend them and was pleased with their transparent fixed pricing and no unexpected surprise charges. The car was washed as well. They also have a great seating area upstairs with coffee, newspapers etc.

Sorry for the belated response. I used Kwikfit last year and the cost was around 900 for a set of 4 (Michelin Alpine) for my IS 250 (2007 reg). I chose Kwikfit then as they offered a reasonable price then and the option to store the tyres. I have booked to swap them again next week.

Thanks John. JEMLEXUS probably the closest to me and so will look into this.

My Lexus (IS 250) is nearly 5 years old and my last service at Lexus Hatfield was rather expensive. I live near Stevenage and wondered whether any one can recommend any Lexus specialists in and around Hertfordshire or even Bedfordshire (I travel to Luton for work at least once a week any way).
Thanks in advance.

I have IS 250 SE-L and my son (6yrs old) usually sits in the back. Once in a while for short school trips, I want to let him sit in the front with his childseat. I read in the manual there is a little knob to turn off the front passenger airbag but couldn't locate it? Does anyone know how to do this? Thank you.

If you open the front passenger door, where the end of the dashboard meets the door/A pillar, there is a key slot to turn off the front airbag.
Thanks for your help. My son is very happy now too.

My winter tyres have been great in this dreadful weather. Had to travel few times in my Lexus between home and work daily over the past few days as I worked over the weekend as well.
