when braking around 40 mph i get a very bad vibration through the steering wheel once past 40 mph it seems to die of but when coming to a slow stop it feels very lumpy bhefore coming to a full stop...ive had it checked not by main dealer but cant seem to find a problem and have hit a dead end of what to look at changing...any ideas could it be a siezed calliper

If its an S model you have mate they dont have the amp fitted as only the SE and Sport model have the amp?
So you only need an ISO lead to connect up a new stereo and a new facia plate adapter like the ones found on ebay? So should be quite an easy swap over to a new headunit, :)

as my standard stereo is now f**ked for the 2nd time,have decided to get an after market stereo fitted but have fell at the 1st hurdle,have had the car looked at by 2 people and myself there is no amp behind the glove box....a few questions...1...why is it missing....2.....what are my options now.......3...does it matter....will it be a case of pullin the old one out and hookin up a new one job done any help or info welcome.....the car is an is200 02 plate....99% sure it will be a kenwood stereo if it helps....

I just rang for quotes at my 2 local dealers as mines due for its 100k service in a month or so. Both were similar prices:
Full service £420
Full service with cambelt change £680
Intermediate service £230
at 80k , yours would have been a full service, so add on a bit for the labour and parts of the waterpump, and you wont be far off £800
sounds like it werent that bad then cheers for all getting back to me.....

Just wanted to know took my car to lexus had a 80k service + water pump and gaskets + cambelt and tensioner + air filter and the labour charges cost me just under £800 have they had my pants down or should i be a happy chappy.....

HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD TROUBLE WITH THE WEATHER/ROOF RACK STRIP....WAS DRIVING THE OTHER DAY NEXT THING ITS TAPPING ON MY WINDOW...ON 1ST INSPECTION LOOKS LIKE IT HAD JUST UNCLIPPED BUT CANT SEEM TO SEE WHERE OR HOW IT GOES BACK ON....ANY THOUGHTS OR SOLUTIONS TO MY PROBLEM ANYONE HAVING SAME TROUBLE ?
