Had to sell my mustang as my circumstances have changed and I will be having to cart two dogs upto the lakes every weekend

So the short list of cars suitable for the job (and suitable for my tastes) was the RX range :D

Decided on an 05 SE-L in dark blue

So that means I am back again.

Lexus number 3!

went to get a bulb for my 430 today and managed to get my paws all over Lexus manchester's 460 :D

now just got to pick a bank to rob and get me one

Don't know the Halfords part number but they sell them, when there just look it up in their bulb index

To eject the disk you need the ignition on and then open the flap or move the slider across on the front of the Nav unit and it will eject the disk.

The only way to get the current speed is to enter a diagnostic mode which will disable all other features, including the Sat Nav, stereo etc. and the only way to exit the diagnostics is to turn off the ignition so it's not really advisible to use when driving.

a: how to eject the current sat nav disk? Or even display the current loaded version?

b: where I can get a more current one? I seen them on eBay archived auctions but not seen any current auctions :(

Also is there anyway on the 430 to get the sat nav to display speed and direction like a tomtom?

Taxifast in Plymouth used to have a Jaguar XJ8 on their fleet. The woman on the phone used to reckon he had nearly as much work as the rest of the company put together, as everyone who rang up always asked for it!

I wonder if the guy who had it worked out whether the increased popularity compensated for the extra fuel it used?

Theres a black IS200 taxi in Leeds

Tried to get it a few times but only get Avensis's from same co.

There was a member of LOC who was a minicab driver who had a green (if I remember rightly) IS200 met him at a manchester meet a couple of years back, I think he eventually got rid of it though :(

So cleaned my LS430 from top to bottom and I cant work out a way of cleaning the seatbelts, its a cream interior and so the seatbelts are a wee bit grotty :(

How do the experts do it?

So I am purchasing my CEO's LS430 for a lower price than I can get a decent IS for

Its been a while but Hi Hi and did I miss anything in the last 2 years :D

Gonna run this for a couple of years then get me a 220D

The celica is far nippier so it may make me grin a lot too, but obviously not as much as the IS !!!

Well guys after much deliberation I have decided to move on from the Lexus to a Toyota Celica (190BHP )

I am kinda sad to see the IS go but she has covered 127K miles and I think its time to let her go while she is still in her glory!

Thanks to the club she looks and sounds great and has been a passion for me. Just the local chavs have taken a liking to keying the bonnet and after a 3rd respray she was done again a few weeks ago. When I catch the little scrotes you so know they are metting my german shepherd and baseball bat

anyways I love the IS and hopefully Mat will allow me to bob around here now and again.

As for the IS her high mileage made me let her go for a terrible price :( Some people just dont appreciate the beauty of the IS 200 !!

Thanks to everyone here who's advice and help has made me feel part of something, and the meets were good fun too (except that really political one I got dragged into hehe)

I do hope to come back into the Lexus fold when I can manage to pickup a year or so old new model in a couple of years, in the meantime I can play with the celica and boast how I used to own one of the best cars on the road!!

I did look at the hyundai coupe but cant justify going from lexus to hyundai lol (I am such a snob now!!)

I think I may hold off another year and see where the IS is at. Unless I get a great offer for the IS :(

Still toying with the idea as a filling station near to my home has just installed lpg on its forecourt.

Aido yeah I managed to source some brand new 17" and so bought some nice pilot sports and chucked them on. The car looks quite nice now mate (well I think so hehe).
