Pirelli Pzero Nero. Excellent tire. You will have very responsive steering also.
Now i have Bridgestone RE050A. Good also, but gets a while to warm up. Pirelli was better

Tein's arrived yesterday and fitted the same day.
I put them with the recommended settings.
The car sits high and is very comfortable but too soft for my taste.
Maybe later today i will make some adjustments. Drop it down and stiffen the shocks a bit.

I had H&R springs with Bilstein shocks. It was a rough ride but not much. I liked it. Problem was that the shocks did not collaborate well with the springs. It was not good balanced setup. From yesterday i am on TEIN SS coileovers

I don't think it is anything to worry about.
Exactly the same thing happed to me. But after about 20 miles, idle was down at normal again.
Just wait and make some more miles and see what happens.
As for the engine light, i think it is just because you turned the engine on without the airbox.

Same audio unit for the IS300 and IS200.
I ve bought it and it works just fine BUT
i ve heard that there are some cases that did not work right.
I think it has something to do with before and after 2002 cars as there is a modification to the audio unit.
Sorry that i can't help more but i am sure if you search the forums you will find some references about it.

I have a set of those on my car but without the blue tint on the reflector.
They are KOITO JAPAN just like OEM
BUT they do not come with electric beam adjuster
Where did you buy them from mate?
it was really a matter of luck and searching in eBay
i got them from a guy in US who probably bought them by mistake thinking they were for the IS300
they were brand new and i paid 180 euros including postage..

It would help a lot if you can read from the OBD port what are the problem codes.
It seems to me like an electrical problem more than anything else.
Hope you figure it out soon and wont cost much...

I think photos were in this thread -link-
but it seems thay are deleted.
I am also interested in this mod.
go to the scrappys and look for a 440mm boot ram it will cost a few penny's and job done.
I think that those struts would be too strong.
Am i wrong?
In our case the strut is needed just to help the oem springs to lift the boot.
Don't i need an adjustable gas pressure strut?

ok. send pm

Where did you get it from? and how much?

Hey mate, Dimitri
how is your car with the swaybars fitted?
Care to share your impressions?
Best regards to Athens!

Maybe aeordynamics is not the only reason you have this behavior?
Too much camber on your wheels can make the car sensitive to side winds also.
Have you checked your geometry recently?
Just a thought. I haven't noticed any real sensitivity to side winds my self.

And when you open the drivers door then they switch off. Right?
That's what mine are doing and its a little annoying.
I would prefer to switch off automaticaly when i turn off the engine.

Thank you all
It some times amazes me, how good this 1999 design looks even today.
Classy. Sporty. Modern. All at the same time!
I just love this car!...
and when the rear starts to slide...!!!

Hope you like it

I got this kit 3 weeks ago.
Very cheap and it seams like a decent product.
It sais that is designed in Germany. I installed it and it works fine those 3 weeks.

When i removed some time ago my rear seat, i noticed that the fuel pump was pretty noisy.
Maybe your noice is from there? Maybe your fuel pump is making more than normal noise?
Just an idea

They DO illuminate.
If i remember correctly you have to give power to the pin up or down from the pin you already give power for the motor.
