  1. Morning, just got back from taking RX400h out in a slight covering of snow, Felt really good with no spinning issues, but i have a question please. I was wondering wether there was any sort of snow setting/button, i had a snow button on my GS300 but can't seem to find anything inside the car or in the manual. But have just seen my local Lexus advertizing a RX400h with the phrase "get a grip this winter with the lexus snow mode" perhaps someone will be able to answer this question please.

    Cheers

    Phil.

There isn't any snow button or diff lock of traction control off switch (the latter is available on the RX450 I believe). I found the best way to get grip and traction when moving off in fairly thick snow (last year) was to put your foot down fairly hard. The previous year I got stuck on a steep hill with nothing happening when I tried moving off gently.

Tyres for the RX are not very good for bad weather, great for normal conditions and feul economy though. They are an speacial size with only 2 alternatives available in the UK and but no winter tyre.

  2. Anyone know if a Nokia 2680 slide is compatable in the RX400h. I have previously registered 4 other phones without a problem but can't get this Nokia to register (registered on another Bluetooth system however suggesting the phone works OK).

    PAD,

Your phone does not feature in Lexus' lists of compatible handsets for any RX400h Nav or Multimedia. So it looks like you may have to try something else, old chap.

I thought that might be the case, thanks for the info.

  3. This is my first post having recently become a proud owner of a Jan 2007 RX 400h. Has anyone figured out the impact on the RX 400h of todays Congestion Charge announcement ? I have to admit having read the TFL website I find it confusing !

You need to fill out one form and pay a £10 fee per year and then no other charges - at least thats what I've been told. I take delivery on my RX400 in March so will register then.
