I've only had my pristine SC430 and someone has already reversed into my grill ( perhaps with a towbar) and cracked it...*****

Any idea what the costs of replacement is?

Just took delivery of my SC430 and get 19 mpg in Town sort of driving which is pretty juicy

Hoping to do better on a country run with any luck

asif, how did you get better mpg out of your LS400's?

Hi Mat,

Two of the ls400s were petrol only and I found 3000 mile oil changes effected the ease of starting and helped on consumption. The third ls400 had a gas conversion costing £1280. Unfortunately I ignored the rule of running the engine on petrol every third tank. Resulting in shattered valves, ouch! 25-27 mpg was the average around town even when they reached 200000.

I'll have to wait and see how I can improve on the SC.

Just joined as have just taken delivery a week ago of my beautiful SC430 ( Black/black)

Bought it from Lexus Bristol with 7000 miles on the clock. Had the most incredible customer service from Lexus Bristol...simply perfect

Previously had a Toyota Supra auto aero since new in 2000 but the Lexus is a different animal all together and has exceeded my expectations.

It is so luxurious and a real pleasure to drive although it does seem a tad thirsty in Town.

Sadly some plonker has already managed to bump into me and crack the grill so I have to find out the cost of replacement ....and I've only driven the car for a week )-:
