  1. Your wish is my command :)

    Cables.jpg

    From top to bottom:

2 x grey connectors are for A/C panel and clock etc. (not part of stereo)

Small white below and to right of them is for the aerial (i asumme its an active/amplified aerial)

to large white ones in middle are for the stereo

White, blue and black (hard to see but its on bottom right) are fore heated seats and Traction/Snow bottons.

and the small black at very bottom is the aerial lead

    Cheers Mate, thats Useful.

I've now removed all the non-standard junk and its almost as good as new.

    Thanxs again bud!

  2.

Recently removed the standard 6 disc changer stereo from my IS200 SE and found that unfortunately the previous owner had somewhat bodged the wiring behind the unit. Theres tape and exposed wire and all sorts, not to mention the non standard wiring that seems to be spliced in (badly).

    F***ing Shambles!

Just wondering if anyone out there has photos of what it should look like or perhaps a Wiring Diagram so I can sort the whole mess out!

    Thanx

    AB

  3. Hi mate and welcome :)

I've had the same problem with my mothers IS. I've found that if I disconnect the battery, leave it for around a minute and reconnect, you can eject your disks.

    Hope this works.

    Thanx for the responses.

I disconnected the Battery, and now even though there's 6 CD's in there it thinks there's none!!

It doesnt respond to the CD button or the Eject button. But when i press Load it asks for another CD!!

I think it is well and truly buggered!!

    Cheers anyway.
