  1. I need to drive my car tonight somewhere and just realised its started snowing again! i havent touched my lex since it started snowing last week.

if you dont hear from me again, call all emergency services to look for a Y reg silver is200 stranded somewhere near watford!!

(im ****ting myself taking the car out now)

hey mate, dont worry most of the major roads around watford are not too bad..just drove back from work...but u might encounter hell of traffic...if u do get stuck..in the snow not traffic..lol..jus gimme a shout i'l bring my cuz's 4x4 to pull you out.. :winky:

  2. I've had my Lex for a yr and a half and was thinking of selling it. However I just cahnged my mind as its too good to pass it on so soon. So thought lets customize it a bit..

I'm thinking of getting a new exhaust for it, nothing loud just to make it sound and look a bit more sporty. I was thinking along the lines of HKS Hi power Silent..any opinions? any other good ones to consider? Also was thinking of lowering the car. Which lowering springs should I go for? I really dont want to spend a fortune.

    Cheers

  3. i had similar problem when my windscreen started to leak several months back..mine was right in the centre...and the water dripped and collected in the gear gaiter.. i took it to autoglass and they told me that it seemed there was a gap in the seal...and the windscreen would need replacing as the current one might break when removed...it weould've cost around 400-500, however at the same time they noticed some chips in the windscreen and suggested to contact mu insurer...at that time even my insurance was third party fire n theft...so i first upgraded my policy to fully comp and waited for few weeks before i called my insurance company...they told me to contact national windscreens and they replaced the windscreen....at which time it became apparent the windscreen had been replaced before and obviously not a good job....

but now...no problem...and i only had to pay the excess and ofcourse the extra for changing to fully comp...but still much less than 400-500 quid...

so..just like the guys said above...check if you have any chips in your windscreen...if they are in your field of vision...then shouldnt be a problem for them to change it... or...alternatively like the guys said...get it smashed....or even few cracks will do the job... :winky:
