Hi I am just wondering does anyone else need to rev the lexus IS 200 high to get it going, when I drive my lexus IS 200 I seen to have to have to rev it quite hard to get it going
The reason I notice it because i had a 2.0 tdi golf as my last car and had it for 4 years so I was so used to that car
-
Yeah we didn't expect to find one with such a low mileage, almost bought one with 68000 for £3995 before we saw the one we got :)
-
I would have preferred different bumpers on the car, leavin them just now as just been quoted £400 for replacements without fitting so may leave it a few months then see if I still want to change them :)

Thank you!
The black one I had a few years ago, just picked then other one up last Friday :)
-
It's manual :) I only do 5 miles to work so I won't be doing a lot of mileage at all. Hoping to keep the mileage down on it :)
-
I'm a little bit in love with it already although slightly concerned about how much more fuel i will be using!
-
Haha it was between £4000 and £4500 :) traded in my golf for it
-
I've had 2 before and was devastated when they were both sold so will definately be keeping hold of this one. The lady before me had it from new and it's been very well looked after :)

Hi all
I picked up my latest IS200 on Friday. It has 38000 miles and has full Lexus service history, I'm wanting to keep the service record going, anyone know costs involved in getting it serviced by Lexus?
-
Thanks, might leave it as is then, it is a lovely looking car, hoping to have it for a while so may change it after it does a few more thousand miles :)
-
Thinking of changing the front and rear bumpers, looking for prices just now, getting the private plate on it tomorrow so should be looking good :)

It's got full Lexus service history and only 38000 miles on the clock so pretty pleased with the find :)

Toying With The Idea Of Buying A Lexus Is200
in Lexus IS200 / Lexus IS300 Club

I usually get just over 300 miles to a full tank and that is all town driving, its much better when I do long distances.
I have an 02 IS200 Aero sport with only 46000 miles on it, I think manual would be the better option :)
I'm having to sell mine as i now have a company car and we are saving for a house :( Gutted as i have always loved them and would love to keep it!
