just to let you know that i rev limit my race car to 8800 rpm which has 13.5 to 1 comp .
longer rods lighter crank billett cams with vvti still being used and im also using 2 stage injection and motor is making 190 kws at back wheels we think 320 hp at flywheel
-
throttle kit which is 50mm butterflies with tps and throttle brackets and inlet with gaskets and bolts etc is 2800 aussie which is roughly 1350 pounds plus postage to england
springs are steel and its only the manual altezza that has the titatium valves and the higher 11.5 to 1 comp
the auto is 11to 1 comp with smaller valves and buckets for the cam to run on etc

rev the 3s to 11k and the motor will **** it self
and i make inlets and quad throttle set ups as well much cheaper than TRD

you can try using race bearings from ACL .NDC and KING all make bigends and mains and also thrusts .if it has spun a bearing get the crank crack tested and them machined to see what size bigend you will need

if you get stuck i have 1 here will take about 1 week to get to you thou 200 aussie to your door glenn

4 to into 2 into 1 is better for torque all round and reasonal hp
4into 1 is better for higher up in the rev range for hp but you loose low down torque
at the end of the day the altezza is nearly 1.5 tonnes stick with the std system of 4/2 /1
or you will be reving the bee jesus out of your motor

that pipe is for fresh air to go into the rocker cover ,the other 1 is the pvc valve that goes into the plenum

You have said that you have changed the air box assembly ,there has been a lot of problems when you change from the std factory air box assembly to a after market 1 .As the air going over the hot wire maf changes and you will get a flat spot .Put it back to std and try it and see if that gets rid of it

the cam profile that i use will fit onto a 31mm bucket .my pistons are forged with a higher bump to give the 13.5 to 1 comp and uses longer rods as well ,i have both heads here as i dont use the std valves on any of these motors .only use the head with new valves and bigger plus different valve springs for the 13 mm of lift ,.head is ported and flowed and valve sizes are upped to the max
