Hi i'm new here, well i've been a member for months but only now being an active member as i have too many questions to ask these days so i'll probably be a pain in the a**.

If i don't get that box for the sat nav, will it not work at all or will i just not have sound??

They're LND wheels bought them off eBay. Lovely wheels i fell in love with them. I really like the stance of the car with the lowering springs.

A few months ago I spotted a post or two on here stating what I needed to buy and do to fit an after market head unit to an IS200 with sat nav. But after a good few tries on the search I can't find it now for love nor money.

Is it true I need an amp by pass lead?

and I also need a box which I can buy from a member on here too is that correct??

If someone can clarify this for me it would be great as know in my luck I'll buy the wrong thing.

i got a 2001 sport navigator. I love the way it sits just want it a little bit lower on my new wheels. would lowering springs be a waste of time as the back looks lower now than most other is200's i see.

As you can see its not too bad on the back. but on the front it's a bit too high for me. I don't want to spend a fortune on coilie's if i can help it.

Advice is would be much appreciated. Cheers guys.

sorry to jump in on this and bring it back from the dead but I've just bought some 18x7.5 with ET35. Reading all of this is seems as if an 7.5 inch wheel with a 225/40/18 tyre should be fine on front and the backs??

didn't remove them entirely. They seemed a little corroded. No tears in the rubber boot though.

Before anyone has a go, I have looked around but this is slightly different.

I bought my car back in June, in October my front driverside caliper started to stick, if you were on a slight slope at the lights, the car wouldn't move, it would eat fuel like no tomorrow as it was like towing something all the time due to the brake being stuck on. So, I stripped the caliper down, and free'd the pistons and greased them. Everything seemed fine and that was that.

Begining of november then the same thing starting happening again, so I did the same again and this time I changed the pads too. It was fine again for a while until now where the same is starting to happen again. Is there a permanent solution to this problem without spending a fortune on a new caliper??
