  1. Just had my LS400 serviced at Lexus Stockport, really pleased with them, lent me a new 03 is200,while mine was done, and even fixed my sticking steering column, (wouldnt change positions with memory) made me a coffee when i went to collect car,and all for the piddling sum of £228-00,thats what i call a bargain :D :D :D

  2. ok,how about this, get some expensive looking flyers and cards printed, spend a day dropping them at top hotels in the area, eg Palace Meredian, Brittania, Mal Maisson,Lowrys in Manchester for instance, i work near to the palace and the people to see are the porters, they deal directly with the guests, offer to bung them say a score £20 for every punter they get you and watch the bookings roll in, when the games were on taxis made a fortune from the hotels,eg £60-00 to £70-00 to the airport, all the mini-buses that get work from the palace bung the porters, old saying, money talks bull**** walks :D

    best of luck anyway

    P.S wanna buy a LS400 :D :D :D

  3. I have made enquiries about other firms who make tow bars for this car and one of them is 'Brink' who make very good detachable bars and the price of theirs is around £250 to buy and about £350 fitted which is obviously quite a saving. Does anybody know if the Lexus bar is made by Brink as it looks very similar. I don't want to spend over £1000 if I can get the same thing for considerably less. Would be grateful if anybody knows anything about this subject.

    from earlier thread :D

  4. problem as above when key is removed column does not retract fully, also when changing memory positions from 1 to 2 {or 2 to 1} column does not take up corect position, when changing to position 1 for instance seat, mirrors, headrests etc all ok but need to press button 1 on door several times for column to get to correct position,i believe that column is controlled by a module, and this is a fairly common fault, what i need to know is 1 is the module repairable eg dry joint fault or does it have to be replaced 2 where the hell on the car is it, any help would be greatly appreciated
