  1. Radio Problems

Has anyone had any problems with radio reception? My car recently has lost the ability to tune into any stations. If i do a seek, it just loops and loops (even with DX). I can get a signal by tuning manually, but its a bit weak, and as for RDS, well it has give up. Im hoping its only an aerial problem, and not the tuner itself. Mine is a 94 GS300.

    Leaking Boot

I too have the same woes with my boot - lots of water on the bootwell, though thankfully its coming in from the left hand side, and not anywhere near the CD changer, will have a look at getting a new seal.

  2. Hi All,

Looking at some archived posts, I see there are a few of you out there with an LPG converted car.

Can any one share some experiences, good and bad, about conversions?

I have a 94 MK1 GS300, with 120K great car, worth about 4k I suppose these days, and I have had a quote so for for 2K for a conversion (yikes). Anyone know of reputable installers who can do it cheaper?

I still reckon its better to spend this money on the car, there aint any other car out there better value for 6K,

    Thanks for your help,

    Andrew.

  3. For a Series 1 GS300.

My car is due its 120K, 5 year timing belt replacement, which I am about to have done. Im going to get it done, probably at Lexus Southampton who have quoted £237 for the full job.

At the same time, ive noticed there is a noise starting around the front of the car with either a belt or a pulley, making a 'jingly-jangley' bearing type noise. Has anyone else had a similar experience with their Series 1 GS? Hoping its just an adjustment needed on one of the belts/tensioners.

    All help appreciated!

  4. If its a Lexus Succession warranty, then you are stuck with servicing at a Lexus dealer in order to keep the warranty.

At least with the warranty you know your servicing prices are fixed, as the warranty covers everything other than consumables,

I got a new exhaust manifold, instrument cluster bulbs and radiator out of my warranty. All done with no question.

insist on a lexus stamp as well
