If you open or shut the back door just the back scuff's come on, or off

Dont you think it would be better to run its own feed,so they light up independently?

My rear scuff plates run of the ignition switch. no problems work perfectly. run off the little light that is around the ignition.

Lexus fitted mine ,the plates were modified from march 2003, they bent it just an inch back from the end,then it goes over the metal lip,under the rubber strip. no drilling.

Can you place the mat in the freezer ,if so try that and then scrape it off.

Quick search came up with mayonnaise,peanut butter,wd40, and another vinegar but heat gum up first ,not sure if it's brown or white bread ;)

I have heard they carry a machine to test it with but i am sure if you stay well away from the legal limit you will be fine .surely it must just be the realy dark ones that are being pulled.

i asked that (did he mean the dark) he said no ones that were just over to ,they had been pulled.

well i was supposed to be having them done in rainford, a guy from liverpool went back to him ,and a few from roundabout ,thats all i know really. thought it was good of him to call me anyway. gave me the choice. i am in st helens.

recieved call from regarding tinting my is 200 sport ,advised me customer's of his had been coming in to have the tint removed ,due to being pulled by police ,n/west area ,said it was up to me if i wanted to go ahead ,but was letting me know the situation . i said was it just the ones who were very dark ,he said no some were just over.

Went and looked at my replacement IS200 Sport with styling kit yesterday.

One thing I did notice and pointed out is that it hasn't got the "Sport" decals in the rear door quarterlight windows. They are privacy glass etc. but no "Sport" - dealer is going to check with Lexus to see if there has been a slight model change as this is a new build.

Anybody here know please?

Do the police pull people for being over? Do they have a easy method of testing the % of the tint?

I've been pulled - and they have a little gadget which clamps to either side of the window and measures the light which the tint allows through.... they all carry them....

funny e.mail to bbc this morning ,did they put the tester on your tinted sunglasses?

had mine done by TINT MAN in rainford if thats close enough to you
