OK so thats good news! Now iv ordered a new key fob from eBay for 3.49!

The prev owner has messed up the old keyfob and i cant even open it coz the screws been messed up. So i'll wait for the new fob, then just change the things from old to new. I'l have to just break the outer plastic of the old key fob!

Checked all the wires/cables etc. Lost on this one!

The ribbon attaching to the screen had probably snapped/torn.

Hi Purvesh - Guess what! Took out the CD / DVD secon apart and put it back together - Screens on!

BUT - Now the dvd drive is not reading the disc. It accepts the disc but you can see it not spinning when it should.

So my screens on but the sat nav now is useless!!

When i use the Drivers door key, It only unlocks/locks that door.

BUT - the central locking button on the inside of the door (near the mirror controls) works fine. When pressed, it locks/unlockes all doors.

So basically, just the KEY is not working.

I opened the door and cant see anything obvious. No loose wires etc.

Any ideas??

I have a 2001 IS200 - The Sat nav Screen is blank. The actual System is working as i can here instructions.

I have checked the TV fuse - Its fine.

I have taken the Nav computer aprt and put it back in (the one in the boot)

Any ideas??

I can some times see the screen flicker. but none of the display shows, just a very quick light then goes off!
