i had the same problem, my 220d was not starting, found out it was the starter motor

My car will not start now, its a 2006 220d which has just stopped!

The Battery has been on its way out for a few weeks and finally looked like it had died, the car's electrics all went including central locking, lights etc etc - So I went and bought a new Battery but the same problem is here.

The car with the new Battery now locks and unlocks and the orange light around the start button comes on and goes to green when clutch is pressed but when you press start it doesn't do anything??????

Any help please guys?

New Battery in key fob also so haven't got a clue now????

Hi all,

I have recently had a new cat and EGR valves etc fitted which was causing the dreaded VSC warnings, all fitted by Lexus foc and everything was well until now. Latest problems are the speedo and rev counter have stopped working? Have contacted Lexus who said that is nothing to do with what they had done.

Please help if you can.

Hi all,

Does anyone know how to disable the dvd & most of the phone functions once you start to move, it is most annoying and would be great for a passenger to watch a film and to be able to access all of the phone book rather than just a few speed dials.

I have recently completed my NAV Mod on my Lexus IS 250 to cater for rear headrest entertainment system. I have two A/V input sources now available on my NAV screen using standard RCA cables. I have setup a Double DVB-T tuner for the first A/V input and the second A/V input has been plugged into a SlimLine PS2 with wireless Controller Pads. This is all viewable on the SatNav screen aswell as simultaneously shown on the rear headrests.

The headrests also receive DVD Video Playback from Nav DVD Unit, which has also been hacked to provide DVD playback on the move.

I have taken a brief video on my camera phone showing the reception and quality of the DVB tuner which was tuned into BBC News 24. Reception has been tested on speeds upto 75mph with excellent reception and with no picture loss. However built up areas can affect reception.

I am looking to disable the safety cut out on the dvd & phone functions when you put the handbrake down and move forwards - Do you know any ways of doing this please?
