Hey all
for the shows ill be putting the Lexus wheels back on the swift however i am wondering are the IS200 bolts or are they stud and nuts?
If they are bolts can anyone tell me the thread pattern and sizes? i know the swift is a m12 1.5 pitch and about 20mm thread length, with a hex 17 head.

sorry forgot to say.
yeah its the 5 spokes. cheers Steviewevie

i have the Is200 wheels on my swift
i have seen the above but just to ask, would 205/40/17 tyres go onto them or not? Or would it have to be 215/40/17 tyres?
-
dude why did you have too lol
i wanted them painting but was toying with getting them polished and now ive seen them i want it doing lol
how hard was they for polishing?
-
cheers for the comments tho. i am pleased with how it looks. everyone seems to think the silver would of looked great.
i was considering white and red however i decided to go for a stealthy look. it did have a red pearl when we mixed up the paint however it hasnt come out as well as i hoped (still can see it but has to have sunlight directly on it and clean to see it haha). the wheels are 95% complete. i am getting a ring around the rim (unsure weather to go white or red) and a red S sticker made up in the middle, so the centre caps look better.
i have some better quality pictures of it

Well i thought while a nice day i would get some new shots of the car with all mods on
Mods on are:
Sports Mind Stickers (Red) x2
Square Front Plate
Tints
Wind Deflectors
Wheels (Cosmic black with a hint of red pearl)
Wheels need a centre S creating however i will be getting one made up

right got some info. i found that the thread is same size as the lexus ones.
would it be possible maybe to try one out see if they fit in the swifts current holes

welcome

One thing i would do mate, is when you have a wheel off the swift measure the length of the stud from the disc face to the tip to make sure the 50mm is longer than you have got allready? not 100% sure but think the ones on the IS are 35-40mm from the disc face?
And think the spline part of the studs is nearly 10mm and then 5 mm for the disc mounting face so you might have to take 15mm off the 50mm measurement? leaving you 35mm of mounting thread from the disc face, unless the studs are measured from the spline part + the 50mm making the stud 65mm in total.
So might be worth checking the lengh of the ones that you have at the moment to make sure :)
you mean 50mm longer than standard ones or with spacers on
-
sorry terry i meant the thread and shank size and length etc etc
Cheers Stav i will do.

brilliant stuff matey thank you
im probabily going to get 15mm as the IS is 5mm closer to the caliper than standard wheels (SS offset is 50, IS is 45) but i now know what the 20mm is so i can work off that
brilliant stuff pal.
ill try find out what the bolt pattern on the sport is
-
Thank you very much Terry
I was going to get hub centric spacers as ive been told they are the best ones to get. how do they compare to standard spacers so to speak? do these constantly sit on the hub compared to others that sit on the wheel face or am i being thick here
i am still a noob haha im trying to learn about parts etc for future reference you see :)

Good evening/morning/etc all
i do need a bit of help.
After working out a good deal with bigal for a set of wheels, i have manage to geta set of 5 spoke Is200 wheels for the swift sport
however i have occured a couple of issues. one the wheels being very very close to the caliper (there is still room tho) and also my bolts for the sport are tapered so they dont pretrude all the way through. So my question is, does anyone know the size of the standard bolt on the IS200? (all dimensions required please). That way i can work out what i need for standard fitting of these.
also im after spacers. Now i know the sports has a centre bore of 60.1mm (which i am lead to believe its same as the lexus). so my question is can spacers off an IS200 work for the Sport or would i need to get ones made up from somewhere custom wise?
All help welcome people :)

can anyone tell me the standard bolt size for the IS200?

yeah mate im tempted to try and see if they fit. if so im tempted to maybe get a set of mintex but really wanna try the standard ones out first.
i am a bit busy tomorrow mate and same on saturday, however do you mind taking dimensions for me please. ill see if anyone can get all standard disc sizes and hub dimensions etc etc. i do have dimensions of the pads on the sport at the moment.
-
sorry my bad people

I am considering a set of discs for the swift and i am wondering can anyone give me the dimensions for the standard IS200 discs and pads
