  1. Think you should report this to your insurance company and then will the legal cover you have claim back the cost to you getting the locks replaced etc from the dealers insurers. This is considered an unisured loss.

I'm a claim handler for uninsured losses and this would be the best way to go. Insurers can be very picky if anything happened to your car in this situation, and they would probably not pay out.

Find out who covers the legal cover on your policy and speak to them, also tell the dealer what you are doing as he may then do the job complete for you. They don't like claims made on their policy!!

  2. :D :D :D :D

I have just taken my 1990 ls for its MOT. Expecting the worse I just filled the w/screen washers up and waited for the bad news. I knew the no plate was spaced wrong as it was when i bought the thing so i was just gonna add it to he list of things to do,

Of course it failed - but only on the Bl**dy plates!!!

This is the first car that has sailed thru the MOT that i've owned - unbelievable !!!

  3. After looking through posts and posts I still can't find an answer to whether or not there is a Cd changer that will fit in place of the original or if it is possible to re-wire another to fit. I just purchased a 2 cd set of workshop manuels from eBay but find they don't work and they are just copies. I was hoping to check the wiring diagram.

Please can anybody help before i buy yet another CD changer or get ripped again on eBay.

    thanks
