  1. Hi All,
Well I think Ive qualified to post on the forum. Ive just purchased a LS600hl with the rear relaxation pack.
Initial thoughts - not that rewarding to drive (sort of knew this) but the build quality, functionality & ride is top of the line. I just need to change a damaged tyre & get a a spare key. (Yes I've already had the comedy price from Lexus). If anyone can advise best way to get a second key will be most grateful. I also need to get a dash cam again any recommendations.
    Am in the Leeds area

If you bought it to be a sporty driver then you bought it for the wrong reason. It’s not supposed to be rewarding in the sporty sense, it’s a big luxury car, not designed for rewarding/ sporty drives lol

  2. I can confirm that my RHD RX400H just passed the French MOT with no lighting issues at all.

Hi. Slightly off topic, but are you living in France? I ask because I am a novice at driving in Europe, so my question is; where would you recommend I go on a first driving holiday in France that is not too taxing from a driving perspective, but quite scenic and historical too, Or doesn’t it matter where I go.

    I live in the UK.

    Thank you.

  3. If I am not mistaken which I might be , wasn’t there something a few years ago about some IS models in the US had the speeding up problem but it was put down to the floor mats somehow having rucked up or slipped and were pushing down the accelerator...I think it was that anyway although I’m not hundred percent sure. I’m sure someone might show that I’m wrong.

But maybe it’s best to check the drivers floor mat . To see if it’s in its original position

  4. I bought one from Halfords myself for 2.0l and used it once on mine because I had not realised you needed to do a weekly hour with the system at Ready rather than just a 4 mile run around the block with a downhill section .. that was enough to keep the main battery up to charge but not the 12V one.
It worked perfectly and I used the under bonnet connections to start it up... I now keep this in the door pocket just in case.

Hi just wondered how does that starter compared with others? Did you have a look at a range of them? I’m thinking of getting one myself but wasn’t sure which was the best one to go for. Thanks
