I have tried to get this done by asking by email scarface and bazza for help but without success.

go to the post you want to change

bottom right of the post press the "edit" button

you will then be able to delete what you want

bazza, thanks for the post, the best i could manage was to erase the notes and then enter

the word deleted.

the edit system did not allow me to post a blank note which is logical.

since i am not very skilled in use of it i may have missed something, cheers, gds

Hello, I have a good set of photos of my Altezza in a folder on my WindowsXP system , I know how to send them to an email address and although I have got ImageShack loaded I don`t know how to include them in a post such as this.

If any of you know of a simple way to do this I would really appreciate "how to" note , I am sure that I am not the only one, so please help if you can.

although i am a fully paid up gold member my two attempts to post my 46600 miles 1999 Altezza details for sale have vanished what is going on, gds

Any other which do in my area, Berkshire as I have been to several place include Toyota, JEM and JEMCA and they dont cut them, also do they also come with remote boot release.

PS. I cant post the key as that is the only one I got.

hello, the point of my note is that you send photo copies of your key from which Access cut your new key, this is is only the mechanical key you have to have a transponder for remote action and to start the car it has to be present say attached to your key ring

hello members, i have just had a great service by Access, Lock and Key Margate, tel 01843 209200, contact Penny Reynolds.

My only key for my Altezza fell apart, i photo copied the key both sides and sent them to Acces after first calling them for info, the next day they called to say the two keys had been cut and how did i want them sent. i chose special next day delivery. total cost to my credit card £12.90

they arrived and work on the locks and with the original transponder present start the engine.

three days from stert to finish, wow!!! cheers gds

hello. they are round about four inch diameter and attach to the bumper by two brackets.

japan parts have quoted £170.00 for one which i think is a rip for what they are.

aluminium and a watery enviroment dont mix well, as said above replace it. to try prevent this happening again , lightly smear a dap of grease over the alu holder then coat in silicon sealant or even a large amount of wax.

Or you could get the newer type fog lamp which has a plastic cap that prevents corrosion ;)

hello, having removed the damaged front bumper to repair i decided to see if i could dismantle the fos fog light which has a crcked lense foun that water had corroded the lamp housing any advice very welcome cheers, gds

when did you check the oil in your gearbox?

was it red and sweet or black and sour!

in japan the original oil in the gearbox is not top quality!

Ordered a new one through Toyota.....€ 130.00 inc vat. each ...so i won't be changing all of them just yet.

Managed to borrow one off my nearest Altezza dealer to check.......

very nice people, considering i didn't buy from them ...will probably take it to them now for timing belt change...

Oh on timing belts...are there different types, mine at present is not the full width of the cogs but on the other car it was almost....

hello, in june 2003 i paid £59 for a new coil here in the uk can`t believe £130, you should get the belts changed, labour will be the main cost, cheers, gds
