I have the same problem,no garage and go away with work for 2/3 weeks,i have just put on Saturday a new 95amp Battery so i thought i would go down the solar panel route,I went Maplins to get one the guy asked what is the drain ampage ? because pointless to get 1.5 amp charger if its losing 2amps, so he said check with Lexus, so this afternoon did just that but the service guy and 2 techs didn't know. So the big question is do you or anyone on here know the answer ???

Hello Again, I telephoned Lexus Chester before i bought it to check it out,and all they said was its getting ready for rear discs/pads cambelt due at 100.000 its on 93.000 now, so they would have done it before sale and tyres which were done before i got it but on the whole it 's a good car just getting a bit long in the tooth for a Lexus forecourt, thats why i bought it.

I had it serviced at Lexus Chester on thursday, the health report they gave me said nothing only advisory dics/pads, so can you not trust anybody that sells cars. (silly question)

But having said that i've had it 10days now and done 5or 600miles and it runs perfect so fingers crossed it carries on.

Hello Boys, Yes its the updated model 6speed box,and yes it is the one from Chester, actually Connahs Quay is there something i should know ??

I have tried to locate a secondhand one to no avail, its like trying to buy a chocolate fireguard.

But i suppose there is always Lexus at £600 a shot.

PS (the guy who sold it said you'll pick one up secondhand but don't pay more than £150) hahaha

My sat nav works ok,even going in reverse screen works, just dosn't show a rear view image

Is it repairable or needing a new part ??

Having owned my LS400 for all of 7days,i've noticed its fitted with 3 wanlin & 1sunny tyres,having done some internet research they appear to be cheap & nasty. I am thinking about changing to vredestein quatrac 4seasons,so i'm asking has anyone had experience of the above or what you recommend. Thanks in advance.Alan
