Fuel Consumption not great, average is 33mpg. I used to get 40+

I am getting the same white smoke symptoms, looks like i have done similar things to you, I have recently also had a new 5th injector fitted and the ECU software updated by lexus - the white smoke isnt as bad as the car warmed up now but the problem is still there. The DPF was replaced about 10000 miles ago so im not sure if it could be this.

Did you get any further on this? I would be interested to know,

I'm having the same issue. First I was told is dpf, went to dpf specialist ,tested all great. Then I was directed to change turbo, done it, still not resolved. Then injectors, they been striped and tested, all good. I think my last chance is cleaning Egr valve. Been at Lexus reading and because smoke is only occasional, they couldn't reproduce it. My car smokes occasionally, but I also have poor fuel economy and lag on acceleration below 2000rpm. I hope it's Egr blocked, will get it cleaned this week.

What was the outcome on this one?

I have exactly the same problem, dpf is fine, egr has been replaced, its had a new turbo.

Im thinking its the 5th injector, was your 5th injector replaced?

They will gut the insides and then fit back on the car so by looking it seems still in place.

It's the emissions I am worried about. Are the emissions likely to be effected on the test do you know?

I'm new here, i see their is a few topics on this already but none seem to cover this question:

I am looking to get the DPF removed professionally (probably by pandpauto) They have assured me it will pass an MOT post removal but i wanted to hear if any of you guys have had it done in the UK and have successfully had the car MOTed afterwards?

The last thing i want is to get this done and then have to buy a new dpf to get through the MOT.

Any answers much appreciated!
