I believe the batteries and the hybrid components are covered under warranty. Check with your dealer.

This is copied from Lexus site :(Lexus Hybrid vehicles are provided with a five-year/60,000-mile hybrid component warranty. Any defect that is attributable to a manufacturing or assembly defect under normal use is covered by the warranty).

Yes, I don't have a diesel myself, and I agree that some people were not lucky with their 220d, but still there are more out there enjoying their 220d.

If someone buys himself a car (which I believe he has already been through the forum and been through most of the issues) and has made up his mind, let's wish him luck with his purchase rather than telling him that he should have got a petrol.

Re what is the best tyres, I believe there are few posts in the IS250/220 section and the Wheels and tyres section that compare different brands and other owners own experiences and reviews.

Shop around in the net, and you will be able to get good prices (but I am afraid you will strugle with your rear ones as they are 18/255/40, and they are only few out there, unlike the fronts).

dose WALD kit fit on is350 ??

I believe there is no difference between the IS250 and the IS350 in the exterior and the all the components, apart from the engine and some other related components. All the rest are identical.

In other words, yes it fits. But better check with the supplier.

Actually I have noticed that the IS has high depreciation. There are alot of them out there under 10K quids, and really very depressed to see it loosing its value.

I believe the ballasts are included but the bulbs are not. That was what I ave been told by a Lexus dealer, and the bulb costs 160 quids + VAT (from the dealer, unless you get it from some where else)

Guys may I ask, how much does the premium rise if you add a spoiler or full body kit? In other words, does it a make a big difference (if you are using) OEM kit?
