  1. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.................................. !!!! :tsktsk:

Personally I wouldn't give you 8p for 50 litres of the stuff !!!

It's horribly acidic - Yes it eats away at the dirt on your wheels BUT it also eats away at your wheels !! Your nuts ( :shifty: ) will gio rusty in 4 seconds flat and your wheels will look like pooh very quickly.

Sorry - learnt first hand with this product many years ago.

Do yourself a favour - clean your wheels thoroughly witha good pH balanced cleanser and then apply Wheel Wax or similar. Your wheels will look great and they will have a level of protection on them. When you come to clean off the dirt/brake dust they will be a doddly to clean just using normal car shampoo.

I agree 100% poorboys rim wax great stuff easy to clean wheels

  2. we own a rx400h, about 30 months old (June 07 plate). Had it from new and its done 30k miles. We love the car, well the Mrs does as she drives it the most. She's a very careful driver, very soft on the pedals. Consequently until the last few months she was regularly achieving 32-35 mpg on a mixture of driving - dual carriageway, local, stop start stuff - even in the winter. The last few months, though, she is lucky to get 29 mpg. We wonder if there may be something up with the batteries?

    Has anyone noticed something similar?

And what is this I have read somewhere about acetone?

    Any helpful comments gratefully received.

could just be dow to the cold weather to be honest i would't be too concerned my friend.
