Hi
I just didn't put the sidelight bulbs back in and ran the wires through that hole, then plugged the holes up with a small piece of plastic and silicone.
Worked for me.
-
Recieved Friday, fitted today.
Perfect thanks Jason! Much appreciated.

I found this thread: -
http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=48876&st=0
however it seems to be in relation to a new key.
If I replace the Battery in my key will I have to do through this procedure or will it just work as normal?
Thanks

I was planning on putting together my own piping so will miss the block therefore heat from the block shouldn't be a problem.
Thanks for your input guys, I'll go for a cone type filter then. :winky:

I am thinking of putting my own induction kit together soon and came accross this on ebay: -
It looks quite cool, but any good?
Anybody had any experience with mushroom filters, are they as loud as apexi filters as I have been used to in the past?
Thanks

After a cheap one as mine has fogged up even after resealing twice!
As cheap as poss please.
-
Sounds like the clutch release bearing need replacing. They can screech like that. Bit like a fanbelt noise but worse!
Not heard it being the flywheel, but at least the bearing is cheaper! However, you may as well replace the clutch too if taking it all apart to change the bearing! That then puts the cost up!
Thanks for the reply, I had a new clutch put in a couple of months ago would the bearing not have been changed then?

is it any one on here.
Keep seeing a blue is200 round plymouth.
Splitter kit, rear led lights, and high spoiler.
Also has black wheel with silver lip.
Was behind up round milehouse yestoday in mine and driven past you afew times in my old car,
Gary
I've seen that one around.
Theres a highly modified white is200 burning around plymouth with a carbon fibre bonnet? Have you seen that one? Anyone on here?
If we can get these people on board could be a Plymouth meet on the cards??

Hi everybody.
Whenever I take off from the lights there is an almighty screech before the clutch pedal is completley lifted.
I've heard this is a problem with the dual mass flywheel and is a fairly common issue.
Are there any quick fixes or anything that can help as I understand these are not cheap to replace.
Thanks

PM from me too Jason.

Where did you get those rear fogs, they are impressive!
Also after the dark repeaters if you can point me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance

Im happy to just lock this down and start getting things underway if people want as this is starting to drag
But up to people? It may take me a little time to work through these as i have just started back at work and im not back to full health yet and feel quite tired but as before im determined to get everyone what they want!

Definately recommend painting them whilst you have them apart for the halos. Some people have colour coded them with the car but i think black looks best. Baking the adhesive soft in the oven and opening them up isn't as difficult as it seems but make sure you use a decent glue to hold the halos in place as sticky pads will degrade in time. Also put a bag of silica gel in the back of each light to stop condensation (its the little bags you get in shoe boxes and electrical goods boxes). Its a really effective and satisfying mod if you do it.
What glue would you suggest, thinking of doing this mod soon.

i will order too mate.
Me three!

Want to ensure I require one before purchasing.
Thanks in advance.

De-tangoing just gets rid of the orange in the headlight which IMHO makes the front of the car look much better.
If you keep the orange lens and spray it, make sure you dont go too dark or not enough light comes through.
If you remove all together you will need different bulbs as the current ones are clear and not amber. Most people use the silvatec chrome bulbs that flash amber.
