Hi all can you help I am looking to upgrade the springs on my Is300 but I am finding it hard to find any springs that are for the IS300, There are plenty out there for the 200 so my Question is will the 200 springs fit the 300?? or not because of the weight of the 300
I only want to go down 30 to 35mm
Many Thanks

That is quite a compliment when you look at the price of PS2's.
Thanks they really are that good I spent many hours reading tyre reviews etc trying to find a good tyre to replace the PS2's and the bouns is that the Falkens are half the price.
I will defo use them again look forward to some new patterns

Hi.
My is200 Auto has a hard to describe noise that happens from the front brakes when braking. It seems to happen from both sides when the brake pedal is imediately released after braking.
It seems to be a knocking noise of some kind. Has anyone any idea what might be the cause ? The mechanic who serviced it last time says there is nothing to worry about, I cant quite remember
what he said but it was something to do with the lexus caliper design.
Anyone any ideas of what the issue is and a possible fix ? as the noise is starting to ***** me off.
Thanks
Jason its the pads moving I have just spent the last 6 months trying to get to the bottom of the noise I replaced all the pins boots etc but still had the noise.
I was out there one day a got a flat headed screw driver and put it at the bottom on the pad to see if there was any movement, the pad moved a fair bit so I stripped them down and I have put a small gasket (had an old mini gasket in garage) under the clips that hold the pad in place and now I have no knocking.
I hope this Helps

Thanks for all the responses. I've made a few notes and will look into costs and report back!
edit - found Falken Ziex ZE-912 on blackcircles.com (they have a fitting centre round the corner) for £76.
Are these any good? I don't really thrash my car about so I'm guessing I won't notice much difference from the Pirelli's (which are down to about 3mm of tread).
I have the is300 and as I said above just as good as the PS2's they replaced, I was also stuck for what tyre to get next without having to get a mortgage to pay for them, I have read a lot of good reviews about the Falkens

take them off and get them skimmed, and when you put the discs on did you clean the hub back to metal and use a dial gauge, I had this problem when I first got my 300 it been fine since I just cleaned the hubs and used a dial gauge to get the run out down to a very small amount, It takes a bit of time to do as you have to keep removing the disc to move round to the next stud until you are happy.

Get all the service parts yourself (japparts) or Adl Blueprint and do the job yourself you will save £££'s and as stated above they are very easy to work on.

I put one in my mates 200 all you need is a Autolead SOT - 913 lead and small hands as you need to get to the Amp behind the glovebox. Good bit of kit, Me on the other hand I went for the THP Bury cc9060 music hands free kit you get touch screen with this and you dont have the trouble with mounting the Remote that comes with the parrot.
hope this help Lee
