  1. Hi Guys,,,

My IS200 is constantly plagued with Damp/Condensation in the rear Window.

One thing to possibly check is under the Grey Carpet Covered Plastic Honeycomb/Mesh Cover on the inside of the Boot Lid.

Upon taking mine off there were Water Droplets all across the inside of Boot lid as well as in some of the HoneyComb mesh holes of the cover.

My Spoiler Bolts/Nuts on the inside of the boot lid are all rusted from the water. We dried the inside of the bootlid with a Drier and this has definately

    helped with my rear window.

You have to take off the black plastic Covers on the Boot Lid Arms (Sort of push clips) first before prying off the clips that hold the cover to the bootlid.

Im suspecting on mine Water maybe getting in through the holes that are in the boot lid from the Spoiler as the rubber Seal on the boot itself seems fine.

  2. thanks for the reply john. I dont park on a hill its flat. Can the aerial easily be taken off to check do you know ?

Not sure if there are any in the boot seal area. Drains are in sunroof area, two in the front corners and two in the rear corners. May need to check rain not getting into aerial base?

Hope this is helpful or someone else gives you a tip. I have had this problem in the past, maybe rain getting into sunroof seal and running along inside. Do you park on a hill?

  3. Hi Guys.

Am suffering from Condensation and water droplets on the inside of the rear window. ITs only this window which seems to suffer from it after rain.

Have checked the carpets and the interior of the boot where the spare wheel is and all is dry.

Seems that Drain holes getting blocked can be a cause of this. Does anyone know where these drain holes are and how to get access to them to unblock them ?

    Thanks for any answers.

  4. Bilstein are good. Motorsportworld are doing the rears and front shocks at £115 each including VAT at the moment.

I would steer clear of the cheaper makes like Gmax, Apex etc.

Hi all, was wondering if there are good aftermarket shocks about that wont brake the bank, like apex or gmax

  5. Hi.

My is200 Auto has a hard to describe noise that happens from the front brakes when braking. It seems to happen from both sides when the brake pedal is imediately released after braking.

It seems to be a knocking noise of some kind. Has anyone any idea what might be the cause ? The mechanic who serviced it last time says there is nothing to worry about, I cant quite remember

what he said but it was something to do with the lexus caliper design.

Anyone any ideas of what the issue is and a possible fix ? as the noise is starting to ***** me off.

    Thanks
