  1. Hi guys I am in process of ordering some bc br series coilovers. The standard spring rate is 10/6 but I see alot of people using 12/10 so was wondering which is best option I want it low but not slammed prob so tyres just tuck in arch running on 18's with 215/40 tyres. If anyone has these coilovers and can tell me what settings that have would be great. I do want them firm and not too soft a ride but I do use bumpy roads often so don't want to be rattled to death If 12\10 is going to feel solid. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks, Jason.

  3. I got new ones sent they where quite different but look more heavy duty however would fit flush as where the ball joint is pressed into housing was just catching the hub so grinned small layer of hub and fitted ok. I'm hoping these ones last as they look more heavy duty. I still have the same noise coming from car when turning and moving forward or backward slowly but bushes seem good could it be top ball joint it seemed ok but maybe when under load it has some play?

  4. I'll definitely get geniune ones next he said they are oe spec and he's never had this issue with them and he had really good feedback but considering last ones lasted only 6 month not from same seller and now these only a month it's false economy and would be better off with genuines

  5. I replaced bottom ball joints less that a month ago as previous ones only lasted 6 months before getting lots of play I didnt go for genuine even though I was going to as I had to change them but didnt have enough money at the time. Iv started getting creaking again and when on or near full lock and going forwards or reversing get a knock/creak and when I apply brakes when turming I get clicky creak noise. I checked all joints, bushes and all seam ok apart from bottom ball joints have alot of play in them again (fuming!!) however I feel it cant be just these making the noises (any thoughts) They are covered with 12 months warranty but would rather get genuine as I don't want to have to replace them every month. Here is a video I took to show play

Sorry for rambling abit but just cant believe how badthey are after only a month.

    Thanks, Jason.

  6. Hi just wondering what is best clutch to fit to jun lightweight flywheel on an is200. I've noticed that altezza clutches fit the is200 flywheel. On forums I've heard that a standard oem clutch kit cant be used and that an upgraded one has to be used but they are very expensive. I found this on eBay http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=280594850773 it's organic and good price would this be suitable?

    Any help very much appreciated

    Thanks, Jason.

  7. Hi guys just a quick one there is a guide on setting front fogs so they can be on without lights on. Says u bent pin on relay and connect female spade and put other end of wire into ignition fuse however when I did this they still don't turn on unless lights are on so it doesn't make any difference. Has anybody else on here done this and is it different for UK spec to us spec as only seam to find guides that are in US.

    Thanks, Jason

  8. Hi this is my 1st post so here goes. I am looking into getting some alloys which are wider i, I have read throught posts on here and found them helpful but still arnt to sure. The alloys I want are 18" 8.5j et45 with 225/35 18 tyres. Im just unsure how much they will stick out near the front arch and want to lower it by 35mm aswell so dont know if it will rub. Has anyone got this setup or know if it will work. Here are the wheels http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/180915921267?redirect=mobile

Any help will be much appreciated many thanks in advance, Jason :)
