Thanks... however, I'm a little concerned about the recall relating to the exhaust. Hopefully, my Lexus dealer will rectify the problem before handing-over the car to me next Monday?!

I take delivery of my RX300SE-L next Monday. Presumably the Lexus dealer will deal with the matter before handing-over the car?

On page 317 of the Owner's Manual, the picture shown shows a switch ("Set") to the right of the height control switch.
Does anyone know what this does?
PS - Before you ask, I have yet to take delivery of my car.

... and I found one for the X5... but still no joy for the RX300 in any version
If anyone has a spare handbook for the RX300SE-L, I'll be happy to pay a few quid for a copy.

For those of you already in proud possession of your SE-L, how do you find the "Adaptive Front-Lighting System"/the headlamps that see around corners?
Does it really improve night driving visibility?

If you are an employee of a company that buys/runs a large fleet of cars, it could be that your employer has discount terms already negotiated with a preferred Lexus dealer.
Some Companies run employee car purchase schemes. This allows an employee (or their spouse/close relative) to buy a car on the same discount terms made available to the corporate buyer.
You may find that a nice word, lunch or a beer :winky: with your fleet manager could be worth a discount; however, don't expect too much off a Lexus!

Thanks. Are you able to say which "German manufacturer"?

I have recently ordered an eagerly awaited RX300SE-L. My 1st Lexus :D .
In the meantime, I am keen to start reading the Owner's Handbook and wonder if anyone knows where I can get a copy in advance of the car delivery (expected Sept).
Rx300 Recall

Just spoken to my friendly Lexus dealer. He mentioned that not all RX300's are affected. The recall only applies to certain chasis numbers.
