Dear all,

My beloved LS400 MK4 (1998) has just failed it's MOT. The Y exhaust section behind the cat's are blowing on both sides. As they join into the single pipe. I have asked the nearest exhaust centre for a new Y scetion and they have quoted £429 (ouch). Does anyone have any ideas where I can buy a second hand one or thoughts generally

Dear all,

My beloved LS400 MK4 has failed it's MOT. The offside read lower suspension arm has play in the ball joint (Salt problem). Very lower rear arm towards the rear of the car Joint of outer end of arm.

Do I need to replace the whole arm or can I buy the ball joint? If so, where?

I hope everyone had an enjoyable XMAS.

I am in Scotland for XMAS and need to get/buy a headlight bulb for my Lexus. The main dealership is miles away and I will probably be charge the earth anyway.

I have tried Halfords and they say they do not stock this type of bulb.

Any ideas.

Hello everyone, having had a lot of work done to my car and being quoted £157 approx to supply a wheel bearing from Lexus i looked elswhere and had this supplied by my local factors General Traffic Ltd. part n/o ABK1493 which was a genuine toyota part!! Complete kit as well for only £47.46 inc. Mechanics fee £80.= one quiet Lexus.I must add that I have no connection with the above named company. Try them for H/Brake cables as well!! Hope this helps you all.

I don't know if there is a kit but the bearing part number is 90903-63011 and you will also need a replacement circlip and oil seal, try Lexus as it can be cheaper than other sources and the quality is guaranteed.

We have a resident Lexus parts manager on here ACLex who may give you a discount and post the required parts to you.

You could try HERE but don't exclude the main dealer, I have found them cheaper on some parts than anyone else???
