Just to let you all know my car is a GS300 2002 with 113,000 miles.

Just had my front discs and pads replaced by Lexus Wolverhampton. £280 total cost. Was given a curtesey car RX 450 ( was well impressed with it, may consider as next buy).
I think this was a reasonable deal and assured the work was correctly done.I am once again pleased with the customer care from this dealership.
Is this a good deal?

My GS 300 navigator 2002, had just passed the 100,000 miles and i asked for a quote from Wolverhampton lexus for a cam belt change. £340 all in plus a courtesy car while they did the work for a day. I cant say how impressed I was with thier attitude and costs. I was expecting a far higher amount from a main dealer. As a result i also had a bush replaced on the rear axle and two new tyres. Total bill £750, the tyres were over £120 each. I was advised that the front breaks would need replacing soon so i will be getting a quote on that too. Well done Lexus dealership.

I have a Gs300 MkII, 112,000mile. Always lexus serviced. I have noticed that the air con will not go below 16 degrees, is this normal?.
On another topic, Its just gone in for its annual 10,000 mile service -£340
i have been advised the radiator is leaking, a replacement is £450 approx, also rear discs need replacing another £375, I ahve agreed to the rad being done by Lexus, but I am sure i can get the discs changed cheaper by a local mechanic who knows his business, is this wise?
I love the car and will buy another when this one goes to the scrapyard in the sky.
