  1. Hey i opened up my fuse box and noticed there were a couple of fuses missing when comparing to the diagram printed under the cover?
    They are the 15A ETCS, 7.5A ABS2 and the 10A H-LP LVL.

Are these supposed to be there in a 1GFE?

    Attached is a pic.

    Cheers

  2. Hi there,

What would cause a flat spot in acceleration in my automatic 1GFE is200/altezza?

When you step on the gas it revs to about 3000rpm then hits a slight flat spot which requires you to put a little more pressure onto the accelerator before it moves past.

Also not sure if this is related but during slow acceleration on an incline/uphill, it feels as though it has trouble changing into second gear and you can notice the rough change from gear 1-2.

    Thanks in advance

  3. Thanks for the replies! Yea i did notice how clean the coils looked, i guess its a good sign of how the car has been looked after by the previous owners!

Yep i put in some Denso SK20 iridium plugs, hopefully they do a good job. The last ones were in the car for approximately 45,000k's so i was surprised they didnt give me any trouble...

  4. Ok thanks got it! So just an update. I managed to finally replace the spark plugs. How do my coils/old plugs look? Also i hand torqued the plugs before finishing off with a 1/4-1/2 turn with a wrench, is that okay? As i couldnt get my hands on a torque wrench. However, for my peace of mind, what would be the obvious signs of under torqued/over torqued spark plugs?
    Thanks
