  1. Interesting i thought the hybrid was really expensive, ok fair point about emissions and the euro 5 or is it 6 now, did notice on the german lexus website(dont ask why i was looking at it) the Ls460 and Rx350 still be bought new and the Ls460 can be had with 4WD somehting i dont think UK ever got, gotta love that certain cars we never get but everywhere else does even in ireland there still offered with the LS460!

  2. You should fit Load resistors for any bulb changed to LED. with rear lights etc there is a warning light that comes on thinking the bulb is out cause it drawws low current.

you can cut the wire to the sensor unit in the boot instead though

Really?? i changed the reverse and interior dome lights to LED ones last december, not had problems + i asked before i bought them if i needed them, answer was no !

  3. OK my is200 not had for long can anyone recommend some replacement parts ? i want a new key fob case, switches still working perfect but the key fob case seen better days, would you recommend eBay like this one:

replacement key pad case it may not be OEM! or would you recommend OEM from lexus ?

And lastly rather than starting new topic, locking wheel nuts, mine are rusted and looks bad next to the refurbished wheels, newly painted hubs and calipers, couldnt find any on eBay could you believe it!! unless i was searching it wrongly the only ones came up was the the 60 degree tapered ones, despite saying 'fits lexus is gs etc' the description says 'a must for aftermarket wheels' 'it might fit oem wheels' and one replied say 'not sure' if yours is flat surfeced then wont fit, i checked it you guess it oem locking wheel nuts are flat surfaced! any suggestions?

  4. In japan the ES was formally known as windom before the lexus brand was introduced there. based on camry and confusingly one point a few different camry's was sold in japan at same time one of them was called 'camry prominent' that shard the same style and body panels as the windom as well as sold alongside it, in the 90s this was before toyota and other jap brands decided to downsized the range, you know get rid of chaser, cresta and sprinter models etc. the es was also sold in Asia, aus/nz, despite being built in japan the es now isnt made in right hand drive anymore or sold in places that drive on the left anymore like aus, hong kong japan etc...shame really
