  1. Nice IS patrickM. , how much did u lowed ur car ?

Alot! :P I have a coilover suspension. I think it is about 60-70mm on this image.

I have had it all the way down on the coilovers and on stock 17" Lexus rims, it was scraping the buttom on even small speedbumps. It was LOW! :P Think that would be about a 100mm lowering maybe more. :)

  2. You must have gotten an out of balance Flywheel, It shouldnt do that.

I know that we actually put single mass flywheels on cars with Dual mass stock. We do it because people are complaining of clutch judder. We do this on a few Toyota models and that is of the advice of Toyota.

  3. Try to keep the revs around 1500 rpm when pulling away, the dual mass flywheel is the culprit, read someone welded the two parts together when they had a new clutch fitted which fixed the problem.

Or buy a new one from lexus!!! I dare you to ring and get a price lol...

I work at Toyota/Lexus here in Denmark and i got the judder problem. I asked for a price on a new flywheel. The price was £830 and that is the price i get it at, working at Lexus. So if a costumer walked in it would be £1300. :S

  4. I run 18" and i have mine dropped about 80mm(Yes, it is pretty low), i only get rubbing on full steering lock, againsts the chassis. I have my arches rolled and pulled out abit. So dont know if you are gonna rub there.

But yes, you would be able to drop it 30mm without problems.

  5. I´m from Denmark, so dont know the rules in the UK. But when you put Xenon lights on your car, it blinds the oncoming cars, because your car doesnt have Lenses in the light to disstort the light, so it doesnt blind people. You also need to have headlight washers and self-adjusting headlights. Here in denmark you get a fine of £120 for each headlight, if you get pulled over by the police.

  6. Yea, i see that the manual says that.

But i can tell you that i have coded many Toyotas with the gray(apparently sub-key) and have the car start and lock/unlock with remote after. We mostly repair Toyotas, because Lexus isnt that big here in Denmark, but should be the same system.

I know that you can use a key from a Toyota Landcruiser(3-button one) and get it cut and coded to work on an IS200.(Saves you some money, but it says Toyota on the back instead of Lexus) :)
