  1. If you look on the IS200 forum, theres a topic from Sprinter, he made his own system with a Apexi filter. He makes and sells them, but hes also got all the parts listed down u need, roughly around £150 i think all in all. Pretty easy to do if youve got a weekend free. And it looks the dogs nadgers! B) if you need any ifno ask him..im sure hel help, but its a really handy post.

  2. if you pull the hole cig unit out thers two pkugs on the bottom...one or both may be loose/not connected, but ul need needle nose pliers to get them out. and the cig fuse is on the drivers side in the right of the footwell..pull off lid and i think its the middle column, second from the bottom. DO NOT qoute me on that, fuse layout is on back of lid. B)

  3. As above ive got cloudy headlights...they were like this when i purchased the car so its not any solution or product ive used on them. And its not condensation either, no sign of any moisture in the units. Its almost like when clear plastic starts to 'perish'...they look dirty but its un-cleanable from the outside. So basically has this happened to anyone else..and/or does anyone know of any possible remedies?, id like some nice headlights again :(

  4. removed the centre caps today...first one..i decided to jack her up, remove wheel and do it that way...it came out extremely easily with little pressure. so i then decided to leave the wheels on the rest and try to pop them off...they all came of beautifully. now time for a respray me thinks :D

  5. hiya. Just a quick question regarding centre caps. Does the wheel have to come off to get them out? i would try it and find out but the Mrs is using it today  so cant till shes back and im a little impatient :whistling: I know that on my Pug gti you could just pop them out without removing the wheel..., but thats french for you. ta very much. :)

  6. Your HUDs look pretty damn good...im sure a couple of the IS owners will be interested for sure...i am one of them...but not that handy with electricals yet :whistling: and that electro cleaning is amazing! thought that was only possible if you go to a professional/big set up kind of place. (not saying your not professional at all, u no what i mean.haha)

  7. Hi all. i got a pair of day running lights last weekend...i was told i could either hook them up to my original headlight system, so they only come on when i put either side or dipped/main beams on, wich is the easiest way, or i can hook them up to something that comes on when the ignition comes on., like radio or actual ignition., so that they are on during day time aswell., which is what i want. just wondering what i could hook them up to and what is most accessible to hook them up to as i couldnt really find anything when i had a brief search last weekend??? im guessing once ive found the live wire i want to put them on i could just use the connectors that u crimp on?? any help would be great, would like to try n do them tomorrow. ta very much.

The whole point of DRL's is that they illuminate when your other lights are off. They should come on with your ignition and go off when any of your lights are switched on.

Yeh i no...thats what i want. I DONT want them to come on when i have my main lights on., as u say..its abit pointless. want them on during the day being the only lights.

  8. hi everyone. Ive been looking at geting a set of LED dash bulbs and see they are either blue or white. Ive seen the blue bulbs in and working but has anyone got the white set?..as im thinking i might prefer them but cant really decide :hehe: decisions :duh: if anyone has any pics of the white set to post thatd be awesome..also any pics of the blue set..just because i like looking at pics (of cars ofcourse, mostly :shifty::whistling: ) anyway...also fitment...is it an easy mod?..one would asume its a few screws, within reason, and probably just a trial and error thing (minus the error) any info would be appreciated. ta.

  9. arr yes..forgot about the solid sealed boot space :whistling: I did have a quick browse of Lexus factory units but to be frank...they did look pretty crap...aesthetically and functionally. ive had twin 12" in my pug 106 gti and that was rediculous..partly because the rear seats split as normal but mainly because its the size of a coke can. Ive got a budget of around £150ish so ill have a look and see wat i can get for that. Ormi...what wattage is your set up? also anyone else for that matter..whats a good wattage to get thorugh the sealed rear section? cheers for the comments. :)

  10. hi all. Me again. I would like to get a sub and amp set up, as ive got a new head unit but feel its still needs abit more 'oomf'. So i was curious as to whether any of the higher range IS200s came with a factory sub and amp set up..as id rather a factory one then a gareish aftermarket (been there done that many times, im past the twin 12" n 1200watt stage :duh: ). I cant say ive heard of any is200 with them, but if not the IS...is ther any other Lexus models that came with factory set up that id be able to put in my IS?? any info would be greatful. ta very much,. :D
