stu can you do me a big favor? since you're in UK,can you give these guys a call if you have free time....and ask about the engine and transmission re-mapping for the ISF?

this is their website,
i emailed them asking why there was'nt any F models available on their site but my tuner is offering me their service....they then replied their website is not updated and they will change their databse but they do have a tune for the ISF and RCF (and all toyotas).....im still not sure about purchasing their reflash for the engine and transmission

anyone have any experience with TMC motorsport reflash for the ISF? TMC is a company from UK, they told my tuner 10WHP can be gained from the re-map/re-flash via OBD port....
i was just wondering if this could really work for our cars

i had my 2nd cats removed last week,reseted the ecu.....was surprised how much different this little mod did,have'nt dynoed the car but feels and pulls like a real sports car now

Hi, im trying to locate 3 wires so i can install my shift light, anyone know where is the
1. positive
2. negative
3. rpm signal
i did a search but im not sure if it is correct.
rpm signal = J34/ 16

anyone know the inside diameter on the stock exhaust pipes?
just incase i will remove the secondary cats, i know which pipes to install.

Hi Lloyd, I`ve had my secondary cats opened up and gutted, no problems so far.
hey charlie, im kinda confused....the secondary cats are the ones in the middle of the car? before the resonator?
did it have noticeable sound?

upon checking from the lexus website and entering my VIN number...it says "Sorry, we couldn't find your car details in our database."
i tried several times but its the same...i thought i entered the wrong VIN,but i checked the VIN on toyodiy.com but the VIN i entered seems to correct....
does this mean my car is not affected?

thanks, for now stock and enjoy the car while it's stock and quiet, my first mod will be apexi throttle controller (just ordered) hopefully the accelerator pedal will feel like the cable type pedals (more responsive).
i was thinking about de-catting the car, but im not sure if i will get any CELs....my is200 had this problem before and it was a bit of a headache.....will i get CEL if i de-cat the is-f? (secondary cats after the headers)

just got my IS-F yesterday,its blue,all stock except for the pipe for the intake,26,XXX miles on the clock....have'nt driven the car on F mode,just sport and normal,the car is from the U.S. (because when i step on the foot brake,it indicates "brake" on the cluster),i will drive it for some time to get use to it,my former car was the RS200 :outforcount:

As i was researching about the is200 diff....i thought our AT 1gfe 4speed was equipped with a 4.3
But as i check the VIN plate..it turned out it was a 4.1
I am thinking of swapping it with a 4.3 or 4.5....anyone know our final drive is a 7.5" F series?

i was wondering if anyone here has tried installing the 4.3 final drive from a A/T gxe10 into a rs200?
are they interchangeable?

Not with only 17"s on there you shouldn't get any rubbing. Is the car lowered?
yes ill be installing coilover soon.... i was wondering what is the perfect fit on our lexus is' with the width of 7 front and 8 rear...

Yes it is 5x114...i read in this forum if we will be fitting 17x8 the offset should be +42 and up for the rear....so im think the +39 will be rubbing on the fenders a bit

Im thinking of this swap....
My car is a 1gfe is200 a/t....and looking for the 1jz m/t swap from the jzx100
I read somewhere that
1. this conversion will be bolt-on if i have the jzx sub frame with the engine.
2. For the manual tranny...will it be on the same spot where my a/t shift lever is?
3. Will the driveshaft fit the is200 diff?

im thinking of installing the stock turbo from an sr20det...and running it on stock boost only,my fuel mods right now is a camcon..will i need the ff?:
1. fuel pressure reg
2. fuel pump?
3. bigger injectors?
im not looking for big power,i just need a little more kick from the engine so 8psi is ok for me.

i ordered this bolt-on intake kit a few months ago,when i installed it,it would'nt fit because of the ABS unit sitting where the air filter should be,i thought of cutting it shorter but it will be on top of the exhaust manifold...so after days of brain storming....i came up with this...

im not familiar with the IS350 f sport,but they have a dyno graph of WHP and lbs of torque from a dynapack...

i know since we are N/A,8-10whp is a big help....they also claim the ISF will really benefit from their transmission reflash because it'll shift much faster then stock
