I've actually driven an A3 E-tron, and I'll tell you what? It's a seriously impressive package. So much so, that I'm hoping to swap my CT for one. It's only going to come in one spec with no options and it's pretty well kitted out. The tech in the car and the finish put Lexus to shame. Ok, A3s are common on the roads, but there won't be many E-trons around and I'm sure that they won't have many of the 'quirks' that Lexus has especially with the their SatNav/Audio
I feel with Lexus that they've been caught napping a bit here with plug-in technology. With Battery technology improving significantly and quickly it's only a matter of time until electric only range increases considerably. I can do my trip to work and back for 4 days on electric only before needing to recharge so for me it's a very good option

Lexus have a Bluetooth helpline - you could try them - 0844 499 4551

I bought myself a 16Gb Sandisk cruzer usb for my music and transferred it all across, over 1200 tracks. But for some reason the stereo only sees the first 255 files. Any idea?

Still waiting for mt CT but had the same problem with my RX450h and the Samsung Gallaxy S2 and ICS. The only way I could get it to work was to delete the phone and the set it up as a new phone. It now works perfectly - hope that helps?
Thanks
I've already tried that, but didn't help in my case. Thanks though

Is that only for the music or handsfree too?
Only for music to my knowledge, I haven't actually made or received a call via Bluetooth since I upgraded to ICS
Apologies for taking the post slightly off topic, but can anyone tell me if the Blackberry Bold (9780 to be exact) is a compatible smartphone to use with a CT200?
You can check you handset compatibility here:

Hi all
Just thought I'd share my recent experience of a Bluetooth problem I had after I recently upgraded my Samsung Galaxy S2 to ICS.
Before I upgraded my phone, it was paired to the stereo via Bluetooth and performed faultlessly, allowing me to use it hands free and stream music perfectly.
However, once I upgraded my S2 to ICS the music streaming stopped working properly, it would stutter and seem to be trying to play the music in small, very slow blocks.
I spent a few nights researching this, but didn't find much help other than people recommending hard-resetting the phone and re-pairing it to the stereo. Needless to say this didn't fix the issues.
However, tonight I stumbled across a work-around for it, so thought I'd share it in case anyone else was suffering from it.
On the music player on my phone, I selected "via phone" whilst it was paired/playing and then selected "via bluetooth" to resend the output to the stereo and it now plays fine although I have to go through this every time I connect the phone and want to listen to music.
Not ideal, but at least it's working

Appreciate it's not cheap but it's not that much different in price to a CT. You're paying a premium for the new technology and the fact that it's a plug in - all plug-in cars come at a premium, you've only got to look at the Prius to see that. My CT is 2 1/2 years old now having covered 37000 miles and it has developed some annoying squeaks and rattles. I normally change my car after 1 1/2 - 2 years anyway and I think for me that the E-tron will be a great option. The other option that I'm looking at is the Golf GTE.
